paul Posted January 27, 2009 Share Posted January 27, 2009 Its a shame that even people who know that SM can deliver the goods wont book until the guests are announced and people who dont know about cons wont be swayed by the flier campaign because they ARE no guests announced. Its a nasty vicious circle that people wont book until guests are announced but guests may not be announced until people book... Ive already got my silver ticket booked and im confident that SM can deliver an event just as good as 1 & 2. I just hope that a guest can be announced soon for advertisings sake! I trust SM/ME to GET guests... but after the last time, I'm not buying a gold or silver ticket unless it's for guests I really want to see. It's not really the case though. They are doing plenty of other cons where guests are announced before they have sold any tickets, so they are not waiting for our money before booking guests otherwise they would never get anywhere. Without guest announcements it will be difficult to sell tickets. I for one would not buy a ticket until I know there is going to be at least 1 guest!
