Avengers7
Before I commit to buying a gold pass, what exactly will I get if I buy one?
Raylenth
As it says on the Gold Programme link: Collectormania 15 GOLD PROGRAMME (formally Gold Pass) There are many advantages to being a Golden Programme holder, which will make your visit to our events even more enjoyable! These include: 1. Shorter queues at the entrance As you do not need virtual queuing tickets you will not need to queue from early in the morning to guarantee meeting your favourite guests. 2. Talk Tickets A ticket for any talks, partie, etc (free and charged-for) will be available free of charge. Tickets will be held back for any Golden Programme Holders, and will be available to collect at the event when you collect your Programme and Pass. Priority seating will also be given to Golden Programme Holders, who will be able to enter the seating area before the main queue. 3. Autograph Queues Golden Programme Holders will have the advantage of being ABLE TO JOIN THE BACK OF ANY QUEUE WITHOUT HAVING A VIRTUAL QUEUING TICKET! This will cut down your overall waiting time incredibly, and allows a great deal more to be done over the weekend. 4. Photo Session Queues Golden Programme Holders will be given priority queuing at the photo sessions! This means you will either be called up first if you arrive at the beginning of the photo session, or will be able to join the back of a smaller queue if the photo session is being called up in batches. (Please note: photo sessions tickets are not included in the Golden Programme. These can be purchased online) 6. Autograph Pack When you collect your pass you will receive a pack containing 5 or 6 autographs worth approximately £75! You can choose from one of the following subjects: Lord Of The Rings, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Star Trek, Joss Whedon, Stargate, James Bond, Original Doctor Who, New Doctor Who, Lost, Heroes, British TV/Film, US TV, Horror or General Film. Simply e-mail us your choice of autograph pack when you purchase your Golden Programme. If no pack is chosen you will be automatically assigned a General Film autograph pack. THERE ARE ONLY 50 GOLDEN PROGRAMMES AVAILABLE! As the Golden Programmes, passes and tickets are collected on the day of the show, please choose the free "Gold Pass shipping" when purchasing. As the Golden Programmes are exclusive to yourself, we will need your photograph to go on the pass. Once you have purchased your Golden Programme, please e-mail us a photograph of yourself (head shot). Please also e-mail us with your choice of Autograph Pack. These Golden Programmes are not available to dealers, only to the public. We reserve the right to refuse sale to anyone. Golden Programmes are not guest specific (refunds can not be offered if the guest line-up changes), are non refundable and non transferable. Golden Programme price does not include the cost of the autographs bought on the day. Golden Programmes are only available for sale up to 2 weeks before the event. If you do not wish to purchase a golden programme, admission still available by standard programme entry and early bird tickets, which will be available for sale on the door over the weekend of the show or from the online shop in advance. misskitten
I have a problem. I am trying to purchase photo tickets for this event, but when I was filling out the shipping form, my country (Norway) was not listed, why is that? Is there anyway this can be changed? All my neighboring countries are listed, just not my own I would really like to secure myself the tickets I need...
Moderators DavidB Posted January 21, 2009 Moderators Share Posted January 21, 2009 That's not a problem - just choose one, and then put a note in the comment box with the actual country you wish for it to be sent
Windu
I know this has probably been answered somewhere else on this form but is this still a free event?
Moderators DavidB Posted February 2, 2009 Moderators Share Posted February 2, 2009 Yes it is it says "still free" on the website, so definitely!
PeterMegahey1701
I'm looking at buying some photo shoot tickets now while I have the cash. If I buy some tickets when will the money be taken out of my account? If it’s not taken until later I will forget about it and end up spending my money twice. Moderators DavidB Posted February 18, 2009 Moderators Share Posted February 18, 2009 Usually fairly quick. The last thing I bought, the money went out of my account the day after.
Jola
If I buy some tickets when will the money be taken out of my account? It depends on how busy the shop is and how far behind I am in processing. I usually say that your orders are processed within a week of being placed. surfy_sah
Yes it is it says "still free" on the website, so definitely! good to know! may need to edit Raylenth's post above cause the bottom bit says "If you do not wish to purchase a golden programme, admission still available by standard programme entry and early bird tickets, which will be available for sale on the door over the weekend of the show or from the online shop in advance." which could cause some confusion! also poss edit this in the shop if entry tickets do not need to be bought? it's probs just a copy&paste issue like with Better Than Life surfy sah xx
PeterMegahey1701
I’m very confused about the gold programme The C15 website says: "Admission is still available by standard entry and early bird tickets" Too Tall's "ANSWERS to FAQs - Regularly updated with show info" post says: "Photo CD - To help you remember your experience at the show, we will send on a photo CD of images taken by the Official Showmasters photographer at the show!" but I don’t think you do them anymore. When someone has the time they should go through and make sure everything gives the same info. A few questions: Firstly do you basically get? 1) Virtual queuing ticket number 1 to every guest 2) All the Talk Tickets 3) Less time queuing for Photo sessions 4) An autograph pack of guests from previous events Secondly how good are the autograph packs? I would choose heroes and I find it hard to believe that 5 or 6 heroes autographs would only be worth approximately £75 Lastly do you get something pretty to wear round your neck like a VIP pass? Thanks in advance and keep up the good work!
Showmasters Admin Too Tall Posted February 20, 2009 Showmasters Admin Share Posted February 20, 2009 (edited) The C15 website says: "Admission is still available by standard entry and early bird tickets" This is incorrect enter is FREE. Too Tall's "ANSWERS to FAQs - Regularly updated with show info" post says: "Photo CD - To help you remember your experience at the show, we will send on a photo CD of images taken by the Official Showmasters photographer at the show!" but I don’t think you do them anymore. Very likely it has changed, I will check that and update the FAQ. 1) Yes, you can join the back of any queue at anytime. 2) Yes, you will be given one ticket for every talk. 3) Yes, gold pass holders go through the photo shoots first. 4) The autograph packs are not "always" just guests from previous events. I'll leave the "how good are the auto packs" up to an attendee that's had one. I could be considered biased on that one. You get a nice badge (about 3"x2") to go on a lanyard with "GOLD PASS" on it and your photo and name Edited February 20, 2009 by Too Tall

Moderators DavidB Posted March 17, 2009 Moderators Share Posted March 17, 2009 They don't always do photo shoots for guests on each day. I guess it depends on demand, plus when the guest is there. So for now just assume that's all that will be happening.

You haven't charged me yet for my order I made about 10 minutes ago, so I started getting a bit freaked out, now I know everything is fine & I'm just waiting for the order to be processed Oh, and just to be clear, Recorded Delivery Europe was the right choice for me living in Sweden, right? Despite having chosed Sweden as a country, the default was for Recorded Delivery UK. Edited March 21, 2009 by AutoBot

PeterMegahey1701
Just thought I’d let you know the shop says: Collectormania 15 GOLD PROGRAMME (formally Gold Pass)..... .... .... .... Price of £175 is approximately €190 or £240 I read it and thought 'hang on... something’s not right here' Took me a couple of seconds to realise it meant $240 instead of £ Anyway no worries you guys have done wonders this year. It’s almost as if you wake up each morning and ask 'who would Peter like to meet?' and get them. But I’m running out of money so pick on someone else for a change. I want to order a gold pass but haven’t got round to having a photo done yet, not to mention I can’t decide what autograph pack to have. (Lost... no wait Heroes....but then.....maybe....no....Stargate......yeah but Heroes is........what about.....US TV....nope that’s not it......) see what I mean it'll be C16 by the time I decide. SunSpeed
Are there any Collectormania 15 Gold Programmes (formerly Gold Passes) left? How come they are a lot more expensive than the Gold Passes for Autographica 13? Edited April 13, 2009 by SunSpeed
