Pretty much the same info as they had at MK.  The only additional flyer I saw was for the next Midlands show which will be on 28 and 29 March 2009 at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole, NEC.

I think the Hilton Birmingham Metropole dates were actually for the next Autographica event which the only guest i saw on the flyer was Ernest Borgnine.

That'll be a neat trick, considering that he's been dead for years.  :D

You cruel cruel man!  :D
"He's a fountain of misplaced rage. Name your cliche; Mother held him too much or not enough, last picked at kickball, late night sneaky uncle, whatever. Now he's so angry that moments of levity actually cause him pain; give him headaches. Happiness, for that gentleman, hurts"

"What if I told you insane was working fifty hours a week in some office for fifty years at the end of which they tell you to **** off; ending up in some retirement village hoping to die before suffering the indignity of trying to make it to the toilet on time? Wouldn’t you consider that to be insane?"

Englishman: I say, Jeremy, isn't that Reginald B. Stifworth, the young upstart chap who's been touting the merits of a united European commonwealth?
Jeremy: Why yes, I daresay it is.
Englishman: Oh, let's get him.
[They drive up.]
Englishman: Oh Reginald... I disagree.
[drives off]

Birminham is at least possible for me to get to, but a strange venue for a collectomania when you have the NEC over the road!

Still...

7th March 2009 TimeQuest

13th, 14th & 15th March, 2009 Hub2

28th & 29th March 2009 Collectomania Midlands

I'm not doing three in one month!

Could anyone tell me if Sportsmania 4 will be at the same location, or is it likely to be moved again (cough cough Manchester cough cough)?

Birmingham is a less strange venue than an -in-the-middle-of-nowhere football stadium in Coventry!

But as someone pointed out about the NEC, weird to have it so close to the location of other events, if you know what I mean...

Can I ask why the next Midlands show is on exactly the same dates as another organisers Birmingham NEC show?

Probably not, given the guidance on mentioning other organisers' events...

if it is, then for me its a good thing, 2 cons for the price of one trip, or just one depending on the guests.
either way it will be interesting.

Least possible to get to??? Its on the directly off the motorway network and it has its own train station and international airport. Where do you live, outer mongolia??? The only way you cant get to the NEC site is by water.

I don't think showmasters can use NEC due to a exclusivity deal the NEC has with another organiser. So a hotel on NEC site is next best thing.

I expect one of them will move dates between now and March. Makes it a bit of a farce otherwise.
