I don't think Buzz is playing this whole thing with his fees in the right way at all. The reason the likes of John Young and Michael Collins can charge high fees is for a good reason, they rarely do behind closed doors signings and never do public signings.
Buzz on the other hand has attended multiple signings over the years and while he will always attract a crowd becasue of who he is, I'm sure a sharp rise in his fees is going to significantly reduce the demand for him, particularly as he is not always the most gracious of signers.

Just make sure you don't have any baseballs requiring Buzz's attentions.. ASF girls were suggesting 5-600 a 'throw' (pun sorta intended).

I wonder if Autographica 12 sent a salutory jolt to certain astronauts in terms of attendance and prices.
It appears that Dave Scott has LOWERED his base price for the upcoming ASF Show in Florida. He has cut the base price by 12 dollars!!!
