What are the chances of collectomania visiting the uk's second city of Birmingham, the fan base here is huge and i know it would be a success,
i visited cm for the first time In mylton Kyenes and although i thought it was great i just got the feeling that Shoppers and collectors dont mix.
I can understand the reason for the venue and just wish that my city could be considered one day....................

The reason that Collectormania is at Milton Kenyes I believe, is because the idea is to keep the event free.  If it was to be held in Birmingham customers would have to pay for not only tickets but for autographs as well.

In all honesty I don't really want to pay an entrance fee when I am already paying up to £20 for an autograph, and as I understand it they charge more at NEC, correct me if i am wrong!!!!!!!!!

And speaking of someone living not that far from Brum, I have to say that a big part of the fun of C4 for me was travelling out of the area and seeing somewhere new.

Woo hoo! Fellow Brummies - HELLOOOO!  lol!  I loved the Venue at MK so I'm not complaining but I agree - the fanbase is huge here - specially for Lotr... seeing as where did our beloved J.R.R. come from?  Brum itself!
I always knew Viggo had good taste, you know.  Never go for the kind of dark brown dark beard you know, but strawberry blonde is something that really brings out her skin texture. ~Dom on Viggo's bearded lady love

She's a woman, so I get that out of her, but she's also bearded which means I can kind of... I can get a different kind of spin on things.  And you know, thats fine.  Viggo's an artist and he can do whatever he wants.  It's not really going to float my boat, but I'm not going to say anything against it.  You just keep on trucking Viggo. ~ More Dom on Viggo's bearded lady love

I mean... one could but perhaps shouldn't delve into a few of his... stranger episodes.  But I'll save that.  ~Viggo's attempt at revenge for bearded lady love.

Thats great.  He's gonna kick the f...k out of me for that one. ~Dom reflecting on telling of bearded lady love.

Other than the NEC has Birmingham ever had a SCI-fi EVENT, To my knowledge no. so i am sure somewhere in Birmingham there would be a venue that could be used for free.

I loved MK i walked around the whole shopping complex in Stormtrooper Armour and a part from the odd few idiots the general public loved it.

Maybe because i was in Armor,  i felt very closed in More space, more stalls.

How about something south of London!!!!!!!!!!!.

I live in Poole in Dorset and there is nothing like collectamania down here.

I tell a lie there is a sci fi do in a hotel in Bournemouth each year but apart from that I have to drive 3/4 hours to get to these things.
