Showmasters Admin showmasters Posted October 14, 2008 Showmasters Admin Share Posted October 14, 2008 Hi everyone, For various reasons we have had to alter the date for Eclipse 3! It will now be held on Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd May 2009! It will still take place at the home of the Heroes Convention, The Park Inn, Northampton. This is now on a Bank Holiday weekend, and although the convention will not be running on the Monday, (as we all need some time to recover), it does mean that we will be holding a full on themed party on the Sunday night as many people will find it easier to stay with the next day being a Bank holiday! (Not that I'm suggesting any of you would need it for getting over a hang over or anything)!!!!!!!!!! We hope that the new date looks good to you. lovbug Posted October 14, 2008 Share Posted October 14, 2008 I think this is a more sensible date change, just because it gives people more time to get the money together for an event like this. However it is very important that when a date is chosen, it is stuck to as much as possible. Its not fair on people who will make plans AS SOON AS THEY GET A DATE. Can't book time off for May til April now, I'll have to be the 1st one in so nobody get's those dates. And at least I only need to book the friday off work.
