That was what I was told at the end of Eclipse.

The Gold Passes had priority at Chevron, and I thought that was the way they had decided to organise things.  So now I am confused again.

Gold Passes at Chevron got to go in first for the signings, but they still called groups for the different guests. I am totally sure about that because I was in the last group to be called for Chris Judge and had to wait quite a while.

At Lockdown Gold Passes got a maybe 2 minute headstart and there were no groups being called. But Lockdown was significantly smaller than Chevron 7 or Eclipse, so it didn't matter that much.

Well thats not how I remember it at Chevron as I went in first for the signings and the photos with my gold pass - there was no group called

I will get this gold pass situation confirmed, it will be used this weekend at the Hub, so whatever is decided will be used at EC2 as well.

The groups did go wrong at EC1. There is no denying that. The sheet that said which groups got called when was overly complicated. It's why everything went a bit squiffy on the Saturday morning. At 12 midday, myself and one of the other crew went off and created easy to read versions of it so that everyone knew what was going on. When we were doing that we noticed that some of the groups had been called out of sequence with the orginal list (becuase it was a pain to understand). We did our best to correct it, but it did mean some people ended up getting more autographs on Saturday and some people got more on Sunday. But at that point our main thought was to get everyone through by the end of the signing on the Sunday and we did that and everyone got what they paid for.

It will be different this time. We did learn from our mistakes.

I was also in Mohinders group, and got 5 on the Saturday, only needed Christines auto on the Sunday :)

I really liked the ideas of the groups though. Was a fun little extra lol

This is now confirmed for the Hub and so with a similar number of tickets likely to be sold for EC2 I can't imagine it being different.

Gold pass holder will go in for autographs when called and can not just join any queue they wish.

There were whiteboards with the numbers that could go and line up at the end of every queue for the autographs.

That explanation of the gold pass not necessarily meaning priority in the autograph queue (unlike at a signing event) makes much more sense now.  As it happened, I obediently waited until my gold pass group came up for each guest so I could get my autographs, and I'm glad it that way as it meant I didn't just get all my autographs in a rush and then have to sit around and twiddle my thumbs until the next talk/event.  Barring a bit of confusion regarding photo queues on the Saturday morning, I found the whole system worked pretty well and I'm confident I'll get a good experience this time round also.
