After i have some more autraphs from the rotk this christmas, i will be auctioning off  one item for charitee (the adopt a tree program in new zealand that dom os supporting)signed by as many of the lotr cast as i can. It will be a t-shirt (worn by me only when obtaining autographs and with clothing underneath) signed already by andy serkis and hopfully more after the premiere. The reason i am not putting this on ebay is 1. because i have no bid history on e-bay and it is unlikely people wil trust thati am not selling fake autographs. And 2. i would prefer the item to go to a fan instead of a collector or seller. out of curiosity how much and how many of you guys would consider bidding on it? and how to do it, like a normal thread or something.....

It would also depend how many (& who's) autographs were on it.  What type of Tshirt is it?

it is a unisex t-shirt, medium size, (tight on men, slightly loose on a n average woman, roughly a size 14. it is white, cotton and quite good quality, it is thick and slightly brushed cotton (ie.not like bed sheets) at the moment it had andy sekis's autograph on it, bu thopefully i will get as many cast members as go to the premiere as well. i may wait till after c5 to get some more in the end but it all depends on this christmas. and remember folks its all for charitee.

Looks like Christopher Lee isn't going to be at premiere but should be a chance to get a few others if you get near the front & it isn't raining & the stars are feeling generous

has anyone got the movie companion book that came with the two towers? coz at the front of that it tells you about the premiere...and they were all told they weren't allowed to sign stuff...so it'll prolly be the same this time...tho u never know....coz sean bean missed the meeting and started signing stuff...but then got dragged away hehe...

hmmm..yeah the "making of the trilogy" book for the two towers says they get told not to stop otherwise they'd end up being there all night!

and it was at the london premiere!

hmmmm, maybe they will sign a few.... oh well, it is worth a try and if they doont well it is less money for a charitee thay are supporting...i should play on that!!

The banners a good idea too although will you be able to hold that as well as all your stuff?

well ill be wearing the t-shirt (to keep it from creasing and so they have to touch me if the wanna sign it!!) i could put the banner over the railings, or something, and i guess my trusty side bag for easy access pens and signing things could be over my back, i am just woried about how much (or little) room i am gonna have if it is maga crowded. but i am soooo gonna have some kinda banner, increasing my chances and all. if on the day anyone wants to direct the stars in my direction (after you have finished with them) you are more than welcome, and anyone who wants to be a member of the autographs for charitee squad and help with the banner etc. just say so and i will make badges and everything.
