I just did a quick search but I couldn't find anything. Just wanted to clarify quickly- you can register up until 6pm right? I dunno where I got that time from but its sticking in my head.

Got a Friday lecture and won't be able to leave until nearly 2pm. Latest I'd be there would hopefully be 4-5pm.

I think its around about 6 because the opening ceremony is not long after that.

I too have lectures, but I'm going to be a bad girl and skip them, cos its a long drive and I'd rather leave earlier and take my time rather than driving at 100mph all the way!

The schedule topic says:

3.00 pm Registration till 8.00 pm

So it's likely to run past the Opening Ceremony.

We usually leave the reg desk open until pretty late. Around 8pm

We suggest people get there for 6pm because the opening ceremony is on about 6:30pm. But if you get there after 6pm it's not an issue.

The reg desk is also open all day Saturday and Sunday too.

That's exactly the game I'm playing.

Except, of course, I am not going to a convention. I am giong home for an important family do. That requires my attendance. Sorry Mr Lecturer. It really is important *is innocent*

:)

Ha ha. Of course. I'm not even going to bother with my brilliant explaination as they won't notice I'm not there anyway!

It's good the desk is open til 8, though I've no intention of missing the opening ceremony!

Thanks! I checked some times yesterday and I can get to Northampton station for 3pm now which is ace.

Originally I was gonna bunk but I've heard horror stories about 2nd year and it'll only have been my 2nd week. Plus it's a pretty small class so I'll get noticed.
