As I read in the FAQ if our card isn't listed in the Online Shop it doesn't matter. BUT it seems to matter though, because the fields I'm supposed to fill out don't match my card. Which means, I don't have the right numbers on my card for those fields and it won't accept it...what should I do??? Hier spricht dann mal der lokale deutsche Forums-Moderator. Maestro zaehlt leider nicht als Mastercard, schoen waere es. Soweit ich weiß zaehlt Maestro in UK als Debit Card (Mastercard waere eine ganz normale Credit Card, wie man sie als Kreditkarte kennt), und ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob der Store Debit Cards akzeptiert. Spontan wuerde ich nein sagen, die Frage ist schon ein paar Mal aufgetaucht. Maestro-Karten machen in UK leider gerne mal Probleme, ist mir auch schon desoefteren passiert. Jola (sie betreut den Store) wird Dir die Frage sicher bald beantworten, sobald sie den Post hier liest. Jola gibt alle Bestellungen manuell ein. Wenn Du es irgendwie schaffst, dass Deine Bestellung durchgeht, dann wird Jola sich melden, wenn Probleme auftauchen. Einfach dann die richtigen Daten im Feld "Zusaetzliche Informationen" eingeben. Ich find das echt blöd, dass die nur so wenig Optionen für verschiedene Karten haben! Bist du oft in England, oder woher weißt du das? Am liebsten würd ich ihr jetzt gleich schreiben,befürchte dauernd, die karten könnten schon alle weg sein (bekloppt ich weiß ) aber wahrscheinlich sollte ich lieber bis morgen warten. Der Store ist nur eine Art "Reservierungsbüro", deswegen gibt's da leider so wenig Optionen. Jola quasi macht alles in Handarbeit mit den Buchungen. Jep, ich bin öfter in England. Ich mache meistens London Film and Comic Con mit, die meisten Collectormanias und einige der anderen Wochenend-Conventions, wie die von Stargate. Wenn man dann einmal vor einem Geldautomaten gestanden hat und es kam keine Kohle raus, das merkt man sich. Jola wird Dir auch nicht böse sein, wenn Du ihr gleich schreibst. Wenn die erste Convention im Ausland ansteht, dann ist es klar, dass man aufgeregt ist. Wir sind alle selber Fans und verstehen das. Wegen Ausverkauf brauchst Du Dir aber keine Sorgen machen. Wenn die Karten knapp werden in einer Kategorie, dann postet das Jola hier. The general question's still open, namely if the job accepts Maestro cards. Mady is trying to book with a Maestro card and has some problems forcing her order through. Maestro is basically speaking some kind of German debit card that technically should work in the UK too, but going from my own experience often doesn't work. Back to German now: Mady, ich geh' mal einen Chat Thread für uns zwei im Euro-Forum hier aufmachen. Das wird dann übersichtlicher, als wenn ich Dir die Fragen hier beantworte. Jola Posted September 19, 2008 Share Posted September 19, 2008 Well rather than choose Maestro - choose Visa - that way the number can be input into the shop, as can the start and expiry date. If there is no start date, make one up so that the order can come through. Then in the comment section of the order form - pop a note onto it with the correct card details again just typing out the necessary card info with an explanation. That *could* work. We accept most cards. If the shop doesn't list your particular card, then select any option. Cards are processed manually - the shop only "holds" your order. I'm french and when I order at the question 'when the card at been issued ' I've absolutely no idea ! So we called the bank but the girl couldn't find the damn date. So we put an aproximately date.
