If going by Taxi or Car ask for Sainsbury's & if you enter Braehead Centre from that entrance , the venue is very close to it & easy to find. Enter from rear car park it is a bit of a maze & will take you little while to find it; many last year entered from rear through car park - not fun!

its in the middle of the center, you want to see a maze you should see the the 3rd floor

no offense haza but take it from someone who works in the center and spends at-least 6 (yes 6 and its not a typo) in the center mostly working 10-9 and i've worked there since i was 17.

any entrance will get you to the arena just as easily as the others, if you follow anyone of those instructions you'll be fine and if you do get lost grab any one of the bulky looking men in the blue shirts with the black ties and they will get you there

Hi!

Was wondering how far it is from Buchanan bus station? I am arriving on the Friday night by coach, and need to get from the bus station to the Purple Hotel, and really need to know how far it is, so i know whether to walk or take a bus from somewhere XD

The buchanan bus station is a couple of streets up from the queen st station. Unless im mistaken the purple hotel is miles away and next to the motorway, so you're best bet might be to get a taxi!

how much dyou reckon it would be for a taxi from queen st station?like 12 quid or sumat ridic like that?

Depends on whether you get a private or a hackney. I'm sure sure how much exactly it'd cost but I can't imagine it'll be that cheap.

Yesideed - sorry totally off topic but I LOVE your avatar :drool:

Hi, it depends what time you get in at cos you can get the first bus no.55 from buchanan bus station directly to braehead. then its like a 10 minute walk to the purple hotel. Alternatively, walk out of the bus station so your facing the back of john lewis then turn right and head towards the big cineworld carry on along that street (i think that one is renfrew st) til you see a bar called walkabout turn left go down that street, the pavillion theatre should be on your right, carry on down til you come to the first bus stop before sauchiehall street, if you pass pizza hut you have gone too far. From there get the arriva 23 or 25 (green and white bus), as stated before they take to braehead you should pass the purple hotel on the bus on your left get off at the stop after you pass it which should be next to ikea (big blue building). hope that helps

Thank you so much, that is extremely helpful!

I will be arriving at the bus station at 5:55pm, im guessing that is in time to catch the no.55? What stop do i ask for when i get on the bus? Braehead?

And when im at the station, is the stop relativley easy to find?

Sorry that i am bombarding you with all these questions, but this is my first time travelling away from my city on my own, and im a little scared, and would love to be organised before i get there lol

Thank you again for the information, its very useful!€

Thank you soooo much! Its such a big help!

I think i shall be getting the 23 then, since i would need a few minutes to get my bag from the bus storage compartment, and so i wouldnt make the 6:01 lol

Thank you again, you have helped me so much, and i feel a little more confident now XD
