I have a simple Jedi robe that's getting a bit small, but nothing to go with it. Will it still count?

Has Showmasters let Ladyd know about this or even what the whole plan is?  I can see the competition being moved but she didn't know that the Cosplay Desk was taking registrations until I told her this evening.

I just wondered could showmasters give further details of how they the day will operate with this event.  Will registration take part during the entirity of the day or only after 3pm?  Also when will the en masse picture take place.  The main reason I ask is that I would love to take part but becuase I have purchased tickets for the Patrick Stewart talk I am worried that the two events will clash.

Registration will be all day and you will need to be changed into your costume ready for 3pm, so if you start gathering in costume at about 2.30pm that should be fine.

You might have to get changed after the talk if the changing rooms are busy or your costume is complicated, but at least you'll get to see it.

I've got a Jedi costume, but I'm crewing both days.

If any crew want to take part, let us know in advance and we'll see what we can do.

Thanks for the info thats made things a little clearer. Our group will be present on both days
and would like to know more about reserving some space to promote our group over both days.

Please can you get back to us.

For any costume groups going (this doesn't apply to individual costumers), please e-mail us at info@showmastersonline.com if:

You want space to promote your group
and/or
you have special requirements (e.g. you're bringing a life-size AT-AT and think you might need extra space to display it...)

If you could let us know at least 2 weeks before the event it will give us time to factor you into our floor plan. If you don't need space then just turning up on the day will be fine.

Just a question but is this only open to Star War groups and costume groups with a few members who are Star Wars enthusiasts or can any costume group apply?

I'm sure any group can apply, but you know its SW costumes, don't you ?
Wanted : Kris Kristofferson, Anna Paquin, Victor Garber, Adam Baldwin, Michael Ironside, Tanya Roberts.

Lost guests - especially John Terry, Michael Emerson and Terry O'Quinn.

LOTR Guests - especially Bernard Hill, Sala Baker, Ian Holm, Hugo Weaving and Peter Jackson.

  (of course I did) just that they didn't say it had to be a group that was mainly SW based or not, and if they prefer people to be from a SW group only then other people applying might not get a table, (depending of course on how many they have available)

I've just bought a Jedi Robe. I already have a lightsaber, so I'm up for the attempt. If I can afford to, I'll look into getting a Jedi tunic, too. We'll see, though...

I'm definitely coming now, my Jedi robe arrived this morning, I need to get some alterations done to it, the sleeves are almost 3 ft long lol , so my force FX light saber, cloak and I will be in attendance on the day. I won't be bothering with a tunic, I not dressing as any paticular jedi just as a jedi generally.
