Just out of curiosity, what Alien did Bill Weston play in Aliens?

And is he of any relation to Paul Weston, as he too played an Alien in Aliens as well.

What do you mean by which alien? He was one of the group, impossible to tell which.

Also, Paul Weston did not play an alien in Aliens, he was stunt co-ordinator but never donned a suit himself. I believe he is related to Bill, but not sure how exactly.

Simply I meant which Alien did he play. (If he could be identified)

Ok, well I was always under the impression he'd played one as he only seems to sign the photo of the Alien attacking Cpl. Ferro from behind in the dropship. Thanks for clearing that up.

Well if Bill is a stunt performer in an Alien Warrior suit my guess he was one of the ones in the attack on the med-lab. He might have been one of the ones that Vasques blew away with the grenade launcher or the one that leaps over Hicks just when Hudson gets pulled under.

Another stunt alien would have been the one that grabs Cpl. Dietrich (who I'm still desperate to meet) in the hive and lifts her up and the one that grabs Newt in the water. There were 6 aliens on screen at one time.

I had another chat with Bill yesterday and got a bit more info on his work on the movies:

On Star Wars he is one of the Stormtroopers in the opening scenes who comes through as they blow their way into the ship and then chase through the corridors of the Tantive IV. He also remembers being next to a wall with explosions to simulate blaster fire going off next to him.

In Raiders he was involved in the Truck chase sequence. He is one of the arabs that falls off the scaffolding as the truck passes, one of the german soldiers in the truck, and the soldier who does the dive off the motorbike with sidecar when Indy nudges it into a ditch with the truck.

In Aliens he was one of the Aliens that comes through the ceiling in the scenes leading up to hudson's death. He also remembers doing work as an Alien in corridors, but couldn't be more specific. He confirmed that Paul Weston (who is not a relation) was just the stunt co-ordinator, and did not play an Alien (something Paul had already told me).

On Superman Bill was involved with Vic Armstrong on a lot of the early wire tests as they tried to tie down the effects necessary to make you believe a man could fly. The shot of Superman going past the Statue of Liberty is Bill.

I hope that helps, he's a great guy full of many stories of his times on the movies, and is really excited about the show. He can't wait to meet you all on Saturday.
