Train Costs £54.70

Gold Pass £195

Hotel £60 pn @ 5 nights is £300

I would of course stay the entire duration so i didnt miss out on all the events taking place. Arriving at the hotel the day before it starts and leaving the day after it finishes as journey is around 3 and a half hours, 2 changes and a trip on the underground lol! I could get the standard pass but i would be missing out on stuff i really went there to do. Imagine having a cocktail party with the guests! couldnt miss that!

Does anyone one know if it would be ok if there were 3 people in the room (1 on floor) as £60 per night for 1 person is a wee bit pricey. Thanks for any help

Officially they're not allowed too many people in a room, due to health and safety regulations.

However, there were plenty of 3/4 people groups in rooms at previous cons there ..

ibis across the road is much nicer, and they do a 120 weekend deal thats per room works out at about £35 a night or £60 each for the whole weekend if your sharing.

i dunno what its like at the moment as it's getting regenerated or something ... i havent got any idea how long that would take but it started on the 17th march...

I was there at the Lost event and found it about okay.

The rooms don't have air condition, but then on the other hand I am spoiled about that. :D The floors were very much on the stuffy side though, very hot.

Prices at the bar were much better than at several other con hotels I've been at.

The thing that annoyed me most was that they only had two elevators and one was broken down all weekend.

It's a £90 3 night deal, £30 per night.
