I had no clue he was one of the operators of the Alien Queen!!

And I watched all the special features on my Alien quadrilogy.

I'm not sure if he was an operator - always thought Nick was a stunt co-ordinator and not an FX man at all. He may have been a stunt co-ordinator for the Queen scenes though like the fire in the lair and the power-loader battle. Would be interesting to ask what he did exactly. Edited by nicky

Superb guest. Any chance of a talk as well? He would be well interesting - and hopefully would be able to field questions from the audience too! This is a really great guest. Stunt co-ordinaters and choreographers rarely get the attention they righly deserve.

Thanks for getting Nick to come along!

What a great guest totally unexpected. I agree that he must do a talk and even a lightsaber display would be amazing if he would be up for that.

Well done Showmaster, give yourselves a slap on the back.

Oh dude if he would wield a light saber for us that would rock! I have to say I loved all his sections on the star wars special features and especially the segments where he was teaching everyone all those cool moves! He seems like a really nice guy so I am tempted to get him to sign somethin'

Please showmasters, ask him if he would show us a few moves!!

does anbody know what he played in the original trilogy?

:whistling: If you are referring to the 'Star Wars' Original Trilogy - Nick Gillard was not involved

Didnt he just do the same thing on those as the prequels? I thought he was "sword-master" and doubled for Dave Prowse?

 No, he wasn't involved in the 'Star Wars' Original Trilogy, that would have been Peter Diamond (R.I.P), Dave Prowse didn't have a sword-master double for the filming of 'ANH', Bob Anderson would have been Dave Prowse sword-master double in the subsequent films
