What to expect?

I've never been to one of these things before so I'm wondering, other than the guests, what is going to be there? What kinds of things are sold? apart from star wars and doctor who stuff...

Apart from the guests, and as you say Trek and Who related stuff.. There is a wide range of merchandise spanning the decades to be had , from Original posters to DVD's Videos etc.

 

If you dig deep enough, you can pretty much find something related to whatever your favourite TV show or film is as well

is there anime/manga, gaming, action figures?

Yep a lil bit of everything usually, tho I'd say the tv/film stuff is the main thing, with a few anime/manga bits etc.
