Kristen Bell mentions Season 3

From Super Hero Hype:

There's been some rumors that Kristen Bell won't be returning for Season Three of NBC's hit series, "Heroes." Superhero Hype! got a chance to talk to Kristen this weekend in Oahu, and it sounded like us she's definitely back as Elle Bishop.

"We're working it all out right now," Bell said. "The strike sort of threw a wrench into everything, but I think we're going back this summer and start airing in the fall."

---

Great news imo, I loved her in S2, and cant wait to have her back in S3... I hope they dont have her back just to kill her off if her other commitments reduce the time she can spend on the show...

UPDATE

From Oh No They Didnt:

I simply cannot wait to tell you the most jaw-dropping, giddy-good, exclusive news of all:

Kristen Bell is in talks to rejoin forces with her Veronica Mars boss, Rob Thomas!

(I’ll wait while you spontaneously break into a happy hula dance.)

Kristen herself tells me (with a big ol’ Veronica-like, canary-eating grin) that, “yes, there is talk†of her signing onto one of Rob’s new TV series for this fall.

In case you hadn’t heard, Rob is one-upping Josh Schwartz in his plot to take over television (the world?) and helming three fall pilots: the CW’s Beverly Hills, 90210 remake, ABC’s Cupid remake and ABC’s dramedy based on the New Zealand series Outrageous Fortune.

So which series is it?

Reliable insiders confirm that Kristen has been offered a role as one of the daughters on ABC’s Outrageous Fortune remake, and that Rene Russo is very close to signing on as the mother. The series is about a family of criminals, in which the father gets sent to the clinker and the mother decides to set everyone straight.

The question is whether Kristen’s busy shooting schedule can be worked out, given her commitments to upcoming projects, Gossip Girl voice-overs and, of course, NBC’s Heroes, which is hoping to have her back for at least five episodes.

I think they had a plot set for her in the 2nd half of Season 2... and perhaps that storyline ended with her being dead...? Since it was always said that Kristen was signed up for (what was it, 13 episodes?)...

But since the strike, filming of Season 3 may be clashing with other works she is comitted to... so... lets hope they come to some sort of arrangement.. If anything, I would rather they temporarily write her out, and have her back when Kristen has the time to dedicate to the show... rather than take her back for a few episodes and kill her off because Kristen has other movies etc to do..

UPDATE on Kristen's work load - From Oh No They Didn't

(seems like Elle may only be around for a handful of episodes...)

As long as she's in some, that's ok

I'd rather Elle had a short story arc with good character development and a decent ending, than she sticks around with nothing to do or they run out of ideas.

I just hope she does come back and they get a chance to do something good with her.

If she does come back I hope it is with a better storyline - this whole 'I'm a bit crazy' thing was a little annoying and Elle's character could have done so much more.

It's a bit like Maya's character .... weak!

I think Tim Kring has learnt his lessons from S2 - fans, in general, don't want romance or flimsy 1-dimensional characters.

I'm not sure - I felt she started off a bit iffy, but then developed a bit better as time went on. I know Kristen fans mainly just loved Elle from the start, but others weren't won over immediately yet by the end felt a bit warmer towards the character.

I certainly wouldn't say Elle is as weak as Maya and/or Alejandro. For starters, electricity > creepy blackeyes  and Elle doesn't say ALEJANDROOOO~! all the time.

The crazyness was clearly there at the forefront initially, but it definitely became something more through her relationship with her father etc.

I suppose you can make that argument about nearly everyone in Season 2 though really lol

It was a shame they didn't have time to do a whole lot, and so we have to remember Season 2 for Peter being a moany boring git, and Hiro mostly being in Japan etc ..

Haha I'm certainly not saying I didn't like it! But some aspects were a bit off :D

And Veronica Mars is awesome  I have them all on DVD but I've not had a chance to sit down and re-watch them :(

Same with Heroes actually, I really wanted to after Eclipse but I've just not had the time :D

I watched all of Veronica Mars in the Christmas holidays LOL And then I bought them on DVD and haven't been able to watch them since :|

I wanted to watch all of Heroes before Eclipse but only rewatched S2 and 5 of my S1 favourites...

Only 5 episodes? ... I wonder what's going to happen to Elle then?

I so shouldn't read or watch interviews because then I'm so concerned about what's going on in Heroes :P

I cannot wait until September for new episodes......

I've just realised from reading the above ....that I'm moaning today - my apologies!
