Ok, thought I'd start this off...

My friends and I are doing a Disney group one day ( I'm attempting to make Queen Narissa's dress from Enchanted), and on the next day I'm going as Head Girl Kelly from St. Trinians.

What are you Cosplaying as?

It's always great to see a Stormtrooper or four! :D ..I won't know who you are under the head gear though :cylon: ( nearest I could get)...

Hmmmnn I'm debating now on maybe going as a Steampunk instead of Kelly now though...

Does anyone else change their minds? LOL!

I would love to do Jessica Rabbit! Only I would have to lose about 5 stone and gain about 6 inches...and learn how to walk in heels...

My mate is going as Jessica for one of the days,( in her candy pink dress).

Damn...I will probably look more like Devine circa Hairspray days anyway!!!

Cruella De Ville is always a good look...I can pull off the be draggled hag look quite well and I already have white hair!

Anyone got any other ideas? I am a huge Disney fan.

I was thinking of a lady zombie from evil dead too...gives me an excuse to buy white contact lenses!

Help me out here guys!!! This is the first one I feel the confidence to do!

Yep, going to do Cruella. Will need some help for the coat though...

I think I would feel more comfortable as her as opposed to Jessica.

Mich, do you know of anyone that is doing that one?

I am so scared!!

No, but going as her would be GREAT! AND you could join us in a little Disney group too if you like?

I think we'll do the Disney group on Sunday.

And you could look on Ebay or in Charity shops for a white faux fur coat or wrap, and paint black dots on it with fabric paint.

Never had the confidence to cosplay but have been thinking of doing something with Sarah so I asked my lovely kids what I could do. I am a large person but have lost quite a bit of weight but the answer I received made me think I should wait until I loose some more. My son the ever helpful person for making me feel good came up with Jabba the Hutt.

Dont think Ill bother.

Oh enty, that's kids for you!

Listen, I'm an old gal by some standards,( my family think I'm nuts), but the thing is to try and get an outfit to wear that you feel comfortable in, so yes ok, if you are a little larger, so what? I have a friend who is one of the most fantasic versatile Cosplayers I know, and she admits to being on the more buxom side, but Gawd she's brilliant. She has Cosplayed characters from Frodo to Wilma in Scooby Do, and ALWAYS looks fab!

Ive seen you cosplay at another event and your costumes are always great. i have ony made costumes for sarah and cheerleaders at Eclipse and wasnt sure about doing one for myself. I think I'll probably wait until I can find a costume I'll be comfortable with.

I think I'll probably cosplay Indiana Jones as I did 2006.

Great to see that there will be someone dressed as Indi would like to do that myself but I will be

with my costume group as a Stormtrooper.

Hope to see you there for a pic.

Heck, I tell you, it's an expensive hobby. An Indy costume is just a tad cheaper than a complete Stormtrooper costume (including FX talking).

So, Stormtrooper eh? I actually have an Imperial Officer costume.

Your right there these costumes can get very expensive. Your Indi costume must be great to have cost

as much as a Stormtrooper costume.

I like your Imperial Officer costume thats very cool as well. Are you part of a costume group? Myself and my brother formed a new one late last year, the Empire Costume Group, we are open to all Star Wars costumes and would love to have somebody in a Imperial Officer costume.

Take a look at our website which is still a bit of a work in progress:

www.geocities.com/empirecostumegroup

If you would like to know more you can get back to me on here or via the website.

Thanks,

Sean.

Cool!

Well, I'm the CO of Nordic Younglings (a group for underaged Star Wars cosplayers in Sweden) but I sure would be interested to join you guys too. You can't have a Vader without a Officer by his side. ;)

Thanks for getting back again.

You say your in Sweden so how often do you get to the UK then? We will be attending most of the main UK

events as well as some charity events this year so you can pic and chose what you want to attend.

Please let me know if you will be able to come to any events with us.

And your right Vader look even better with a Imperial Officer by his side.
