zebredy
Just wondering (sorry if this topic has already been started somewhere) what time people are arriving or should I say getting to C12 and how many days are you attending Collectormania 12? Some may say the line up isn't that good, but personally I would have to disagree, with people like George. A. Romero, some other horror guest, some Heroes, Firefly and Trek guests going, (to name but a few) it makes me wonder if there are still people out there who are going to get to C12 as early, or earlier then say 5-6am.. The main reason I'll be getting there early this time is so that I can get some VQ tickets, then shoot off and sort my hotel out, knowing I won't have really high VQ ticket numbers, or be unable to see the guests till the following day. I'm only going Saturday and Sunday and should be there on the Saturday between 6 and 7am depending on traffic... So what about you guys? Psychosis
On the Saturday I'll probably be getting there some time after 9/closer to 10. On the Sunday I'll be there earlier than that, especially if Greg Grunberg is still going. Probably gonna base my time on how busy it was on the Saturday. bobd_uk
I'm going for a short time on Friday, and all of Sunday. Currently want 5 auto's, so plan to get 3 on Friday and James Kyson Lee and Greg Grunberg on Sunday, so hopefully no need to be too early!
Princess83
At the moment, it looks like I'll be arriving shortly after 10am on Saturday. Hopefully that will be early enough...I only want to see Helen and Jewel and I think both may have a steady queue, but hopefully neither will be swamped. Toxie
I'll be there with two of my mates (Aaron and Dan) on the Friday, Sill is meeting us on Saturday and were going on Monday morning. After C11 we decided we would attend all the days and spread the meeting people over the three days rather than cramming it all into one day. Were a bit gutted the party has been canceled but I'm hoping somebody picks a pub for an unofficial meet!
Daniel
About 11:30am on Friday. Sadly I can stay until 12:00pm on Saturday (an old friend is having a wedding reception that day. How considerate)
SunSpeed
People could be/are going as early as 5 am/6 am in the morning?! I'm not going to get there till 10-11 am probably. I'm taking my time going round when I arrive later on, rather than trying to get there early. I'm not one of these people who queue up overnight to get tickets for a concert or for the sales at a store. I'm just going to take things in my stride. I know it will be packed on the Saturday. Just hoping it won't be boiling in there because of the sheer number of people in the hall (even though it's a big area it will still be clammy like it was at C10). But the forecast is for cooler temperatures over the next few days. Edited October 23, 2007 by SunSpeed

Psychosis
I think it's because last time everyone went for the Patrick Stewart/Hayden/Adrian/Jack/Milo/Dominic Monaghan type guests, but there aren't really any that major this time. Well, IMO. I'm not going as early as I would have now that Greg has cancelled.

Well as I said before, I'm getting there early becuase I want to get VQtickets before I shoot off to my hotel, as my mother said (and I saw this on watch dog) that travel lodge havve a tendancy to over book there hotels and so some people will be told to go to another travel lodge further away, because there are no rooms left.. I didn't believe it till it happened to my fiances Nephew a while back. And I don't want to take any chances. Yes it may be a bit OTT but that me for you.... And I'm very used to early starts for cons and stuff, so I don't really mind. I just sleep LOADS when I get home for a couple of days afterwards! Unless there's been a HUGE change of policy, Travelodge won't accept luggage, so you can't leave it at the hotel at all. Just worth checking beforehand if you're planning to do this!
