scouse sarah
Do you still have to pay if you just want to meet the artists and don't want to get anything signed or are you unable to do this?? Can someone please let me know as I am thinging of travelling from Liverpool to see a couple of the artists but I am unable to pay for their autographs but would still love to meet them. Thanks Sarah xxxxxx
bluenutta86
i think you have to pay regardless, unless you bump into them around the centre, before they're in their little 'booths'
Moderators DavidB Posted July 10, 2007 Moderators Share Posted July 10, 2007 Usually at other events it can be ok to go and say hi etc to the quieter guests, but just realise that anyone paying will take priority, and it's generally at the discretion of crew members and the guests themselves, so there's no guarantee. Charisma
Also they are there to sign, i would feel rude going up to a guest and not paying.
C.Parkers-Girl
yeah like David said, if a guest is quiet you may be alright to speak to them but its not guarenteed
Moderators DavidB Posted July 10, 2007 Moderators Share Posted July 10, 2007 Plenty of people do at events, and sometimes they even encourage people to come down and say hi etc. It gives them something to do when they're quiet, and it can make people change their minds and decide to get autographs after talking to them. There are benefits to it

There are benefits to it never thought of it that way - i was converted to an albvin fan sorta in this way - met him down @ southend.....and he was the most lovely man ive met in ages......especially asking about my camera lo - 'i know those things dont work all the time'
Moderators DavidB Posted July 11, 2007 Moderators Share Posted July 11, 2007 It's happened to me a few times at events. I've just talked to them and that's changed my mind about getting autographs, or my friends have talked to guests and told me how nice they are etc
MikeDonovan
You're travelling down from Liverpool, which is going to cost, what, £60, say? And you can't pay another £10 for their autograph? Sorry, I'm being pedantic, I know :)
