Hi
The "Inverted Jenny" is a very rare stamp, but also defines the culture of misprints being rare. Every Star Wars figure with the wrong colour plastic and every piece of limited edition packing owes its status to this stamp.
To do this to such a masterpiece is evil of the kind only ever witnessed when a Bond villian outlines his plan to take over the world.
Of course, I do not think there are many people on this forum that have enjoyed a stamp collection, so lets look at this in pure value terms. In the thirty years after the second world war, the only thing that rose faster than house prices were antique postage stamps. Stamp collections can also be used as part of a very diversified investment portfolio.
Check old envelopes, paperwork and attics with care!
