gene wilder would be dreadful, i met him last year at a book signing and he wouldent even shake hands with anyone

I've always found book signings to be a bit like that though - not really like the convention type events.
Perhaps I can find new ways to motivate them....

Man, what I would give to meet Gene Wilder! He scarred many a childhood with his role in Willy Wonka, but I thought it was awesome. Never did me any harm...

Wasn't the hand-shaking something to do with his condition? Something like OCD, I can't recall what it is.
Still, it may not necessarily excuse his being unfriendly, if that's what he was.

Fair enough, I didn't know that :) I saw him in the West End some years back but sadly didn't try to meet him...I had to dash off after the play. Still, I'd love to see him again.
