No copyright infringement is intended or to be infered. Word count: 224 He watched as she laughed with her friends. She was sat at the usual table in the library, her best friends, Xander and Buffy, were with her. Her vibrant red hair reflected the sunlight coming in from the windows. Her deep green eyes sparkled as she laughed at one of Xander’s lame jokes. Her smile was the most beautiful smile he had ever seen, usually it felt like every time she smiled his troubles just washed away, but not today, it would take more than her smile to make this feeling in his heart go away. Seeing her this happy made the whole feeling about a million times worse. Leaving her was going to be the hardest thing he had ever done but he had to do it for her safety. She turned and smiled at him and his heart broke. The smile disappeared from her face, she knew there was something wrong. He flashed her a smile, hoping that it would stop her worrying. She turned back to her friends but he could sense that she was still worried. Sensing feelings was something that came with being a werewolf. He got up and walked to the table where his friends were sitting and kissed his girlfriend on the cheek. He knew this was their last day together and it was killing him inside.
