Lockhart Anecdote – Voyages With Vampires “My voyages with the vampires began when I was taking my annual skiing holiday in the Alps with the Yeti, fabulous skier but not much of a dresser, we had both just skied down the route of death that has only ever been completed without injury by myself, the yeti and two muggles whom are of no consequence in this story, other than they did get eaten by the wild bears that attacked me later… It was upon arriving at the bottom of this slope that my trusty Condor delivered to me a letter of vital urgency from someone begging me to come to their aid, the letter was anonymous but even though I could have been facing a most dangerous trap, my instincts told me it was a risk I had to take. The instructions told me I had to ski down to the bottom of Landeck Mountain and turn left at the road side then hike four miles until I reached a log cabin from there I was to travel three doors down to find my destination. I did as instructed and three hours later had arrived…it was only then I realised I could have Apperated instead…but the journey had been good exercise and built up my manly physic that I knew instinctively that I would need for the mission I was about to undertake. I opened the door and stepped inside only to be jumped upon by eight screaming viscous women, whom I aptly fought off, each of them a vampire, who, despite their beautiful appearance were too dangerous to allow to live. The last to be disposed of told me why they had attacked, my old nemesis…Lombardo, now a vampire had ordered the attack. This time my mission was about more than my fans, more than the protection of all people, more than my award for Witch Weekly’s most charming smile…this time it was to settle an old score and I wanted revenge.†
