I would suggest contacting your ticket vendor regarding a refund etc.

Gutted is an understatement.....
Concert tickets will be refunded but not the hotel. This was paid for in advance at time of booking as it "was a busy weekend"

they should refund it! there should be some time frame within which you can cancel before the event, they cant just take your money if you arent staying there! its illegal!

However, if you're told at the time of booking absolutely no refunds then there's not much one can do....
Anyway I think a couple of us will still come up to MK anyway - we'll just come and bug the locals instead
