Hello

I HATE searching for stuff taped over Xmas on my tapes and half the stuff i can't find so I just miss them.  

I have decided to get rid of my VHS cassettes and get a DVD Recorder with a BRAND NEW TV. At the moment I am watching shows on a full frame box tv.

I am going to upgrade my system. I was going to get SKY+ but that is expensive so I am going to get a DVD Recorder which can record 40+ hours on SP mode and a flat wide screen TV.

Does anybody know of any reasonable systems for the above.

I would appreciate if you can post web links which could be helpful.
