Hi just wondering if people out there would like SM to continue to get wrestlers to appear at there shows? I mean they got Test (who has now been sacked from the WWE) the well FIT!! Stacy Keibler and I think everyone that met him RVD was a great guest! Took time out for everyone. Saying this we have to be realistic on who we would like to see I can't see them getting HHH but a good mid-card wrestler or perhaps a wrestler that isn't in the WWE at the moment but is still a big name. I'll start the ball rolling with suggestions.

Steve Austin - he has left the WWE and is currently staring in a film so it would be good publicity and it would cost the world as he isnt a current WWE (not sure if WWE get any part of the fees that the reason ive mentioned that)

Goldberg - As above

Mick Foley - Would be a great one cause he is a legend and respected around the world, he is part of WWE but not fully commited, this would also be an excellent time to promote his books.

Terry Funk - Hardcore wrestling legend need say no more.

*************************************************************

WWE

Trish Stratus- Just cause she is fit and would be great to meet her

Big Show - would be a great to meet and see how big he really is!!

John Cena- currently out filming so it could be an excellent tie-in for his wrestling and promoting the film

*************************************************************

what is everyones option would they like to continue to see wrestlers as guests or not??

Terry Funk - Hardcore wrestling legend need say no more.

Funk is over here this coming saturday for FWA's british uprising 3, he is also signing autos and meeting fans at the fan slam before the event and the meet and greety afterwards.

first ever WWE production "Eye Scream Man",

Second production isn't it? John Cena's "The Marine" has been shot already.

Raven a.k.a Scott Levy would be a good one too, wanted to meet him and ask him about Raven's Flock for a long time, just hope his apparent bad moods aren't there if he turned up

Met raven and got several autos from him, he would not be a good collectormania guest, he is quite moody and unfriendly when meeting fans.

..So many others too, like Randy Savage, Brutus Beefcake, Rowdy Roddy Piper, AJ Styles, Undertaker, HBK, Triple H, Ric Flair. These are just to name a few

Just like Funk, AJ is also over here this weekend, he is over here a lot now wrestling with FWA. i've met him several times and he is a really nice guy.

Steve Austin - he has left the WWE and is currently staring in a film so it would be good publicity and it would cost the world as he isnt a current WWE (not sure if WWE get any part of the fees that the reason ive mentioned that)

He's back on speaking terms with Vince and they had a meeting recently, he'll be back on WWE in no time.

I think WWE guests will continue at showmasters events as they have proved very popular and are more firnedly than most of the other guests at the event. Personally i would love for Diamond Dallas Page to be brought over for an event, top wrestler and his next movie - "House of 1000 corpses 2 - Devils Rejects" is released early nexy year.

well loads of people from the UKFF (britains most famous wrestling forum) attended the event, and everyone have very possitive things to say about LFACC and meeting RVD.

Not really, well unless they can bring the Ultimate Warrior !

You would not want to meet him, the guy is rude and aggresive to fans. He has been known to rip up unofficial warrior items that he has been asked to sign, he is known as a complete nutjob.

He even lists his own signed stuff on ebay for ridiculous amounts of money and writes a huge description of the item noting how amazing he is and how collectable this stuff is. Do not get the ultimate twit for any event!

I'd have to say no to this...I can see the cult status that they have but don't think it really has a lot to do with film...and besides if you have more wrestlers then what's to stop SM having other sportsmen? It could turn into a similar event as the con at the NEC.

It's sports entertainment, so they're not necessarily sports people ...

Plus, RVD was just as popular as some of the Aliens guests, so even if they're not in films, they have popularity.

And if u wanna get into it not being related to film .. well, some guests attending have only been in TV so should we get rid of them too? Nope ...

It's not gonna be like the NEC, we've had 2 at one event, and 1 at another, I REALLY don't think u can compare that to the use of footballers etc at NEC.

WWE is sports entertainment, it's a show and it's a pre-determined sport. So it is nothing like football!!

Also WWE is now branching out into movies. The Marine is the first production starring John Cena, and the second is titled Eye-Scream Man starring Kane. So now many of the wrestlers are getting a chance to headline movies.

Anyway no doubt more WWE stars will be at future showmasters events regardless of what people say in this thread. They have proved some of the most popular guests.

Bring more WWE wrestlers

Agree with the comments on footballers and sports guys in general but how about inviting some music guys to a Collectormania. Not many just one or two as long as it's Brian May and Roger Taylor. I'm sure they would like to do some sort of signing that would benefit the Mercury Music Trust.

Then u can generalise TV too .. sports are on TV  It's very hard .. it's ALWAYS open to interpretation, and as long as wrestling is popular then I think it's fine to have the guests along. There's a solid fan base that's a lot bigger than some people that have been along to events. Why have "film" people that have been on screen for a couple of minutes and not wrestlers who are on it every week? *shrugs*

Well alot of wrestlers have apeared in films

RVD- I know he has been in a fair few films that have cult following, he has done two films called black mask I think its called (if I am wrong can someone advise me) and he has a genuine interest in comics as he has is own comic shop in america.

Kevin Nash- He was in Teenage Mutant Turtles he played the Super Shredder.

Jessie "The Body" Ventura- Predator

HHH- Will be in Blade 3

Goldberg- Univsersal Soldier 2

Undertaker - Mr Nanny (yeh I know its a crap film) and I am sure he has been in other films

Macho Man "Randy Savage" - Spiderman & Jay and Silent Bob Strikes Back

Hulk Hogan- Has been in a few films

Stone Cold Steve Austin- TV programme with that guy out of Miami Vice and is in a new film

The Rock- Need I mention him

I have only tipped the iceberg on wrestlers apperances in films, so before people start saying that wrestlers haven't appeared in TV and Films then they are wrong. They are prb alot more wrestlers that I can name, and I am sure I will get alot of stick for stating this lol
