verticalflower
Do you have to ask questions? Â I'm pretty sure that I would not be able to form any words in the presence of Dom and Co

Arwen
Yes, the tickets were £15 each for the talks... but you also got to watch FOTR or TTT as well which is excellent value!  You don't need to ask questions, you can just sit there and watch so don't worry! It's a really relaxed environment, and REALLY great fun! Seeing Andy doing 'Gollum's Inner Debate' in the flesh was priceless.

MissAnonymous
As an ignorant Collectormania novice, could someone please enlighten me. Are there always talks by the guests or is it a case of some do, some don't? And if there should be a talk by the LOTR guests, would you be able to get the tickets for that at the same time as the tickets for the signings? What exactly happens at these talks, is it like a panel of actors answering questions from the crowd and that is then followed by a film? Also, what time of the day are these talks and where are they held????? Â I can understand if the Showmasters are not ready to give us any information on any talks yet and I am more than happy to wait for them anyway, hell, they've been amazing giving us the hobbits and Gollum (and I love you for it Showmasters, in case you're reading this!). I would really just like to know what to expect. Anyway, any info would be much appreciated - this event just sounds better and better!!
POTATOES
ive not been to one before but as far as i know the people attending get to ask them questions! at the last one they were held in the early evenings after all the signing had finished! and i think the film came after but im not sure coz i wasnt there!! Â Â erm.....the tickets you buy in advance and u dont pay for the signings until you're in the queue to see each person!!! the tickets for the screenings go on sale a while before....thats pretty much all i know really! this will be the first time i hopefully get to attend one! The tickets for the screenings generally go on sale about a month before the event. There is NO guarantee there'll be one for LOTR, but I *think* the demand may be high enough *g*!!  To get these tickets you had to call or email to reserve your place, and then send a cheque to Showmasters ASAP.  The talks are very informal. I went to see TTT, and John Rhys Davies arrived about 15 minutes before he was supposed to, ate some of the audience member's chocolates and basically joked about until the rest of the guys appeared. They then stood at the front of the cinema, and answered questions, asked questions back to the audience if needs be(!) and had a great time! It was just so jovial - amazing fun. After the talk (about an hour all in all) the film started.  The talk started about 7ish if I remember rightly... and will be held at the Cineworld cinema (across the road from MK Centre).  If you keep checking this page: http://www.collectormania.com/specialevents.html you'll get all the info you need.  Also, if you want a quick glimpse of what the TTT screening was like, you can download a movie file here: http://www.collectormania.com/movies/moviegallery.html

DavidSimons
I'd be too scared to ask a question of the guests. I know what would happen I'd be all prepared with a great question like "what did they think of the fantastic scenery where they were shooting the movie" and what would come out of my mouth would be  "have you seen the SERKISPORN thread on the foum, these are the people who created it"
