The deluxe pass still offers great value as we have some fabulous guests attending this year and all bar Buzz are included.

The bigger astronauts are now less willing to travel and their time is at a premium, we are lucky that Buzz always has a good time when

He comes to our show and is still willing to make the trip.

If you like multiple photoshoots the deluxe pass is perfect for that purpose.

Will Buzz be taking part in a group astronaut photoshoot?

Hi everyone

We are working on the group shoot and I will let everyone know when that is finalised. We are time limited for Buzz so we will

See if we are able to make the group shoot work.

At the moment there are no plans to include buzz in the group.

Hello.

I assume there is a fixed time on Saturday for the photo-shoot with Buzz? When is that?

BR

Lars

The event scheduled will be released closer to the day. Rule of thumb about a week before the show.

I've only ever seen him sign as "Buzz Aldrin". Do we know if he will sign as Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin ? Also will he dedicate to "Darren Brown" as opposed to just "Darren" ? For the kind of prices being suggested, I'm hoping to make my autograph as specific and as personal as possible. Any info appreciated, thanks.

Not sure he would sign Edwin, as he legally changed his name to Buzz in the 70's - you can but ask him though!

Should think he will put your surname on ok (that's just my opinion) - write your name on a piece of card so he can copy it.

Cheers

"APOLLO 11 COMPLETION ARMSTRONG ALONE
OR BOTH ARMSTRONG AND COLLINS £915"

Does this mean that he had photos on his table that had already been signed by Armstrong & Collins that he added his autograph too? If so do you think that will be happening this time around?

No it meant if you had an item already signed by Armstrong or Armstrong & Collins then you would be charged £915 to have it autographed by Buzz. As far as I can remember Buzz didn't bring over any personal items to sell at Autographica.

I agree the price is steep (well out of my price range) but there is some thinking behind it. At the moment on ebay you can get an authenticated Armstrong autograph on a photo of the Apollo 11 crew for $3500. For the same photo with all 3 crew members autographs, Armstrong, Collins & Aldrin, the seller is asking $8995 (although they are open to offers ;) ).

By adding Buzz's autograph to an item already signed by Armstrong and Collins you would be increasing the value of the item by about 3 times. So the thinking is if adding Buzz's autograph vastly increases it's value then why shouldn't Buzz charge more as he would be making you quite wealthy? I'm not saying I agree with it but that's the thinking behind the pricing.

P.S. happy 400th post day to me  It's only taken 8 years.

I have decided that rather than having a photo or poster signed I am going to have Buzz sign 2 copies of the same book. Buzz is the co author of the books and Stephen Hawking wrote the foreword. I picked up the 2 copies last year for 90 euros and both had Stephen Hawkings authenticated thumb print which I would say is one of the rarest and hardest signatures to acquire. I also managed to get one of the books signed by Charlie Duke, Walter Cunningham, Alexei Leonov, Brian May, Richard Dawkins, other scientists and the Noble prize winners Robert Wilson, Harry Kroto and John Mather.

I think that having one book signed by all these would be very unusual and rare.
