Upgrades are now available for SHERLOCKED!

 

Last week we released tickets to SHERLOCKED: The first Official Sherlock Convention and now we are happy to announce that we are able to offer upgrades for those of you looking to get that little bit extra from the weekend. What do you do next? Simple. If you already have a ticket and you wish to upgrade please follow these instructions:

1) Email tickets@sherlocked.com with your name and order number specifying which ticket you already have and which ticket you wish to upgrade to. (Please specify how many of these tickets you wish to change if there is more than one.)

2) You will be emailed an upgrade code. Click that code to take you through to the payment processing page that will have already calculated the difference in your ticket price. (Please select the number of tickets you wish to upgrade from the drop down box.)

The code you will be sent is specific to you, please do not share it with anyone else or there is the possibility that shared codes will result in duplicate orders, none of which will be valid.

3) Pay the difference for your upgraded ticket. You will be sent a new E-Ticket, please disregard your old E-Ticket as it will no longer be valid.

4) Bring along your new e-ticket and enjoy the event.

Sorry if this has been asked elsewhere, but...

 

If you paid the e-ticket verification with your original order, do you have to pay it again for your upgrade? I have a gold upgrade ticket, but kept the email from the silver purchase with the verification fee on. Is this correct?

I'll doubl check, but I don't think you'll have to pay again.

Help please, has anyone here bought multiple tickets in one order? I purchased two packages for my husband and myself and these tickets both held the Information 'ordered by Bianca' and additionally in the upper right corner above the payment the name of the ticket holder, that is one with my name and one with my husband's name. Now I have purchased two upgrades but the new tickets don't hold our names anymore. They still say 'ordered by Bianca' but not whose ticket it is. Sorry for my English, I hope you get what I mean, but I am panicking that they won't be valid like that. Please help!

They will be valid. You ordered, you need to pick the tickets up. As long as you're there to give the ticket to your husband all is fine. The only thing that would cause a problem is the missing validation fee. Everything else c an be solved somehow.

 

Sicherheitshalber nochmal auf Deutsch: wichtig ist der Name des Bestellers, also Bianca. So lange Du da bist, beide Tickets abholst und Deinem Mann dann das eine Paket gibst wird's keinerlei Probleme geben. Danke übrigens für die genauen Angaben - viele haben den Namen des zweiten Ticketinhabers gar nicht genannt gehabt.

I would like to know before 7pm tomorrow. because if not I will need to get photo shoots and talk tickets is there a number I can ring to find out.

You can try calling the office, the number is under "contact us" on londonfilmandcomiccon.com. But they'll likely ask you to wait for the e-mail. They're trying their best to get back to everyone as fast as humanly possible.

Thank you will try number tomorrow hopefully we will here tomorrow if we have got the upgrade or not. the full weekend with accommodation, tickets and everthing is costing us more than what we spend on a family holiday so I hope they get the upgrade they have been waiting so long and are looking forward to seeing the talks. We have been going to showmaster events since the collectormania in Milton Keynes

I don't see why it shouldn't work. No packages are sold out yet. It's really only a matter of the office being swamped and due to this not having got back to you yet.

 

But of course I understand, when your children are looking forward to something so much it's easy to get antsy. Not even when it's about children. A friend of mine wanted to meet Rabbit from Winnie the Pooh so badly when we went to Disney. I was a wreck until we had finally found him at the Halloween party.

Thanks Queen Sindel! Still I am worried because my husband got his photo shoot e-mail still addressed as gold pass holder. I haven't got mine yet. Looks like they really only upgraded mine though I purchased two packages and got charged with the double amount. Is it possible that they couldn't automatically apply the second upgrade ticket to my husband's? We upgraded to Platin and since that package contains a shirt I could only insert one size. This costs us a fortune and I don't want to risk standing at the registration desk and find out that my husband is not listed as platinum pass holder. Sorry for my fussing, but what can I do? Is there an info hotline or something?

I'm assuming the e-mail you mean is the e-mail with the prices? That list info is kept separately and it's from when you signed up for the e-mail. So that would be right with him addressed as Gold Pass holder there. You originally bought Gold.

 

I've not personally seen the upgrade page. But if two tickets were listed when you clicked on the link then all should be good, linking is done on the back end.

 

You can contact the e-mail address in the first post if you are worried. There's a phone number, but they will ask you to e-mail if you call.

No, I mean the e-mail which assigned him to a certain group for the photoshoots. The one with the price information came separately and was not addressed individually. I still reply in English so that others can follow the conversation...

 

Ah okay, I understand. Those had not all gone out last night.

 

Sorry, in that case you need to contact the store. Please e-mail tickets@sherlocked.com as given in the first post, I erroneously had the main store address in my other post.

I bought 2 silver packages, the email I got with the allocation is just addressed to me and doesn't mention the other package I bought. I assume we're both in the same group.

And do your tickets hold the names of the ticket holders?

 

 

Please send an e-mail with your name and order number. I promise they'll get back to you as soon as possible.

 

Anything posted here isn't going to give a definite answer to your situation. The ticket store needs to check this.

CONFIRMED:

 

There is a paragraph in your e-mail somewhere saying this:

 

"All orders for this ticket type from this email address, ordered up till now, have been assigned the same group allocation. Any future orders made using this email address will be assigned the next available group allocation."

 

If you have ordered two tickets you are getting one e-mail, both are in the same group.

 

I also asked again about Bianca's situation: you really need to e-mail, we can't fix this going through the forum. You getting one e-mail is correct, but it should not have been worded for Gold Passes.

Sorry, I haven't heard back yet. As you noticed from this topic we're very much swamped. Some e-mails get faster replies than others.

 

EDIT: CONFIRMED: You do not have to pay the validation fee again for the upgrade.
