  1. Yes, I saw TooTall around a few times, I did wonder if I should ask him for an autograph... I don't mind if people ask. Just be aware if I'm moving quickly, it's probably because I'm going somewhere I need to be. But if you see me stationary or moving slowly, please feel free to ask I managed to quickly say, "Hi Too Tall!" Trying to remember when and where it was, but I said it nevertheless. [/quote/ I saw Too Tall on Sunday. I hope he didn't think I was staring at him. I was just trying to figure whether it was him or not!
  2. Karen Gillan? Also, it would be nice to see Billy Dee Williams. I know he's been to some UK events before.
  3. I have never cosplayed before but I am thinking of doing Link from The Legend of Zelda.
  4. I would love to meet Charles Martinett and Shigeru Miyamoto, but I don't think Miyamoto speaks a whole lot of English, unfortunately.
  5. Hi everyone, I am thinking of attending the Entertainment Media Show for the first time this year. The only other convention I have been to is London Film and Comic Con, which I have gone to twice. Is EMS very similar? Do people come in cosplay? Also, is the entry fee the same? Thanks!
  6. Family forum so won't say what I was going to!! Isn't it nice now that everyone's getting along? Bet it won't last though............... Hey dazzlerjames! You suck! I'm going to find tiny things to complain about a wonderful weekend! Nyaaah! eh? Is it just me but I don't get your response?? Sorry, it might not have been so clear. Basically, I was making fun of the people who complain about petty things, as you said in your previous post 'bet it won't last though'. I was trying to jokingly start a fight to prove your post right. Perhaps I didn't word it quite right though! Nah it's fine - after I posted I reread it and then understood!! - I've had a long weekend working on a big gig so not quite with it yet!! You do know though that by making fun of people making petty complaints somebody will have a petty complaint against it!! I'm sure they will.

  9. I second this notion, consider it carried, it shall be so I third it!
  10. I like myths their fun :-D But you know what everyone should be? Prepared for Trouble!...Make it Double! What does Team Rocket have to do with anything?
  11. I've just seen your comment (I'm guessing it's yours as I've seen you mention you're 14 before) and I have to say that it was so wonderfully put. I obviously agree with everything everyone said but I was very impressed by your reasoning and had to let you know that you put yourself across as a wonderfully intelligent and kind young man. The comparisons between football fans knowing lots of the history behind their teams etc and painting their faces is spot on and I may have to steal that when arguing the geek case myself. Thank you! That's one of the nicest things anyone's ever said to me! I have seen pictures of you cosplaying and I think I saw you at LFCC this year. I think I speak for all of us con-goers who don't dress up when I say thank you for all that you and other cosplayers do. The convention wouldn't be the same without you guys and you brighten up the weekend! Don't let ignorant people like the man who wrote this article put you down. You are all amazing! Awe, thank you, sweetheart! If we're at any more of the same events and you see me you must come up and tell me who you are so I can give you a hug. Unfortunately I can only really afford to go to LFCC but I do go every year. If I see you in 2012 I'll say hi!
  12. I find it incredibly odd that my ability to name at least half of the aliens in the Mos Eisley Cantina from the original Star Wars has not yet got me a girlfriend.
  13. As has been said, this article is quite possibly there to get an outraged reaction. This is incredibly annoying as all you want to do is fight back! It is just one of the many cruel injustices of the world that situations like this arise, where no-one will take you seriously. My advice? I don't know. But if you do post a comment, make sure you don't go into full-blown rage mode as this is what they want. Think about the points you make beforehand and you will show that you are more intelligent than the writer. But the most important thing is just to not let it get you down. If we all keep going to wonderful events like LFCC then he will not have won. Long live Showmasters!
  14. That's a great picture with Jeremy Bulloch! He's such a nice guy. Amazing costumes by the way!
