stephy749
Last time I went to Collectormania there was no parking left at all and we had to go and park about 15 mins away and walk down but that's not possible for me any more so I was wondering if there were any dedicated disabled parking and does it fill up. Dannycarroll2007
At the stadium the disabled bays are by gate 5 near the KFC.
Samphirette
Danny's correct in that there are a number of disabled bays around the gate 5 area and a few more if I'm not mistaken around towards the left of the Hilton Doubletree entrance. It's also the closest place to park for the entrance to the arena. I've tried to google an aerial shot for you, but unfortunately the only ones are when the stadium was still a bit of a building site around it
stephy749
thank you very much. My feet have been good recently but I really don't want to be pushing them in case something does happen
Nick
Hi there, Is anyone able to advise how much parking there is in general open for this event? I have been to SM events at the stadium before, but not since the arena has been built. Many thanks Nick
Dannycarroll2007
It's free
Queen_Sindel
Do you mean how many spaces? The "how much" more sounds like how big the area is than the costs. Well it did get pretty busy last time Saturday, but if you are there early it shouldn't be a problem.
jonathan
Although there is ample...Don't forget that it's on a retail site and it's a Saturday not too far away from Christmas so that can be a factor too. As QS says though if you arrive early you will be fine.
Nick
Thanks QS Yes, I did indeed mean how much of the parking would be open, as in are all the stadiums car parks available to use (like on match days), and I didnt necessarily think SM would have the details of the exact number of spaces. mahoosive
There might even be a bit more parking with the new development of the cinema/restaurants... but don't quote me on it lol
Faerie Tanith
Last time I arrived at around midday on the Saturday and we only had to look for a couple of minutes before we found a space.
Dannycarroll2007
Parking area has been pretty much finished since the start of this football season. The car park by McDonalds is very large buy is a fair way from door 6. Depending on how long you were intending to stay you could park near by at a store that has disabled bays.
