Photo shoot upgrades. PAYING ADDITIONAL MONEY.

I've purchased photo shoots with Walter Koenig (March) and then at a later date when he was announced, George Takei (April). Then a double photo shoot with them went on sale on the bridge set and I have enquired with Showmasters how to go about upgrading and paying £30 EXTRA to do the joint shoot instead. I have just received a reply to tell me quite frankly, too bad this is not an option and I'm stuck with what I have..... really?! Considering tickets and options go on sale at different times PLUS I am opting to pay more money and upgrade, I hardly see this as being either fair or a sensible business decision. If this is indeed correct, it highlights the fact even more why organisers need to get full package and guest options visible to customers upfront before allowing any sale of tickets. (PS. I HAVE UPGRADED TICKETS IN THE PAST AT SM EVENTS WHERE IT INVOLVES PAYING ADDITIONAL MONEY).

Sorry, but I am not quite clear on what you are asking. What exactly did you ask for? Return both photoshoot tickets, pay extra and do the double shoot?

If I am understanding correctly, this has never been possible.

The Upgrades that have been allowed have always been one ticket to costume shoot or one ticket to double shoot/Group shot.

I have separate koenig and takei photos for Friday which I booked as the guests were each first announced. I have asked to upgrade these to the koenig/Takei double shoot on classic bridge and pay £30 more instead of the separate Friday shoots. Also I asked to upgrade and pay the difference from Martha Hackett shoot to her costume shoot. As long as there is availability, which there is, I just can't see why it is a problem QS. Thanks.

Okay, so the Takei/Koenig issue has been as I thought. Like I said, this has never been allowed. Why I don't know, but the T & C say no refunds or exchanges, and essentially this Transaction would be an Exchange.

If reading everything strictly even the Upgrades to costume shoots would not be allowed. All Upgrades Need to go through the store and essentially it is at their discretion if an upgrade is allowed, sorry.

I am surprised to hear the Martha upgrade wasn't allowed though. I'd suggest contacting them again. That Kind of upgrade has always been possible.

This is the thing QS, it's not clear for the staff either it seems and I am being penalised now because I followed SM guidelines by booking photo shoots early. If all options were visible when I made the first photo shoot booking then this wouldn't even be an issue.I would have booked the right shoot to begin with. NO ONE would have had visibility of this back in March....Extremely disappointed as a loyal SM customer by this and I can't understand the logic. The only plus side now i guess is that it's £30 of my cash that SM won't be getting! I'm paying out nothing else. 👎👎👎

I really don't expect any satisfaction with this to be honest. They are now choosing to ignore my emails as well. It's really poor service. Had we as customers made an error booking then I would quite understand the enforcement of the upgrade rule but letting customers buy tickets without full visibility of ticket options and then refusing to help. Awful. I won't get ripped off like this again.....

Sorry, but like I said: the only People who can do anything are the ones responsible for the store.

I have explained the T&C. You are asking for an exception to be made. This is by no means a "rip off." You could have as well waited to buy the tickets, there was no warning that they were getting low and it was stated numerous times that there were still guests to come.
