Firstly, we are sorry to all the people that had their photos taken with Adrian & Milo at the end of the day.

As the shoot ended we were informed by the photo lab that thay had some problems and would not be able to develop the last batch of photos in time for the end of the show, which is when our back up plan had to be put into effect.

We will put up a page of the uncollected photos on the LFCC website very shortly, so you can identify yours and then email us your address so we can send them out to you (at our own cost, of course). Those of you who left your name and address for the photo sessions, we will be posting these out by the end of the week.

once again we are sorry for this, and we will make sure we get them to you as soon as possible. Thank you for understanding

Jason

Thank you for the update! I was pretty disappointed when I couldnt get my picture, but my friend (who is ever the optimist) cheered me up saying I now still had something great to look forward to about the con :)

I do have some questions though. I'm not from the UK, I'm from the Netherlands, and I'm so very worried about the photo getting lost in the mail! What do I do if that happens? And what do I do if I get a wrong one? I think I left a pretty good description (I even detailed the jewellery I was wearing) but what if there was someone else out there with glasses and a pink dress? :D

yes i was wondering what would happen if people claimed the wrong photo, i had to write two descriptions (myself and my boyfriend) and found it easier to write mine than his, i was wearing jewellery and he wasn't etc.

thanks for sorting this out so quickly it was my first showmasters event and i'm trying to let it not put me off attending other (because i do know that it was a one off and the others will not be so chaotic)

I have a question.

As I was rushed through, as so many others towards the end of the line, the photogrpaher did not have time to check the image.

If any of us have closed eyes do we get a refund?

During the Dominic Monagahan photo op and others I have attend during other conventions the photographer always checked to make sure eyes were open, and if not he took another shot.

I'm afraid the total of two seconds I was in the photo area did not allow for any checking.

No, I don't think he does check the image. My eyes are closed and I look like I just had a long session of pot smoking on my Jack Coleman photo - and he wasn't rushing us through half as fast in that. I had to scan it and get a photoshopper friend of mine to superimpose my face from the Hayden photo onto it. :( I was gutted, as he was my favourite guest.

I've attended several photo ops over the past couple of years, and it has been the same photographer and he has always checked the images.

But the Milo/Adrian shoot was completely insane. I felt sorry for the photographer.

I just hope and pray all three of us managed to not blink during the one and only exposure"!

He was definitely checking when I had mine done, I had to wait each time for him to 'clear' me. And the person in front of me during one of them had their picture taken over and over again as they kept blinking and he had to coach them on how not to blink when he took it.

Well my photo op was about 2 seconds, I can barely recall it. I'm a photographer ,I know how long it takes to check for non blinkers, especially three of them. You will have to enlarge the image on the back of the camera to check. No way was this done, not in the time allocated. IMO

I was in the first batch of people through ((I had a gold pass) and at that point we werent being rushed through. I was watching the guy having his picture taken and he was definitely blinking each time, so Malcolm must have checked the images and seen that.

We will put up a page of the uncollected photos on the LFCC website very shortly,

What would be the chance of putting them all on there? then we could all have a digital copy of our images, that would be greatly appreciated by the many of us who would want to have our photo collection in a digital form and would save us having to scan the image in to our computers?

?

I'm guessing the images will be thumbnails.

Have you any idea of the size of these images? Any server would curl up and die with that many images hosted at full size.

It's so great that we could have a photoshoot with the Petrelli Brothers ! :D

The fact that we could not get our picture yesterday isn't really a problem...

I think that if you make a poll between this solution and no photoshoot, 100% of people would have chosen this solution :P
