Really a pleasure to meet, he asked how I was I said fine, so I asked him back and he said good, especially cause he had some coffee.lol. And I got to stand and stare at him for an additional 10 secs before he signed my 8x10's while he took a sip of his coffee. :D

Yeah, much better. 117 VQ instead of last year's 1072. Except he's buggered up the up/down/up/down rotation on my horizontal cast print. Damn you, Stewart!!!!

Nah, it's great just to have it signed - and to follow that up with a great talk, and a free piece of fluff! What more could you want?

I've just changed my avatar to show that all is forgiven.

Happened so fast I didnt get to mention I wanted the sig in the top corner of my poster and not in the middle. Also I got a bit tingue tied with what I wanted to say to him, so that was a bit of a downer. Glad to meet him though.

Here's a nice little Patrick moment I witnessed,

When I was at the desk of David Warner Patrick walked behind David to leave & David said "Patrick darling, look what someone gave me" David pulled out a A4 picture (I could not see what it was other than it was B&W) Patrick looked at it & said "my goodness look at that" than put his hand over his mouth while shakeing his head (My guess is it was a pic of David & Patrick from then they were younger). David said "isn't that incredible", Patrick put his one arm around David while handing the photo back with the other & said "I love you" & kiss David on the forehead.

I thought that was really nice, looks like they are old friends that really love each other.

I was 4th in the queue and i did hear him say to the chap in front he is not shaking hands today but he was very pleasant aknowledged me and thanked me for coming which was great.

Short but a very pleasant experience.

Fairplay to showmasters when that annoying French TV crew tried to push to the front the tall crewmember told them where to go in no uncertain terms.

Patrick Stewart was amazing :D I loved his talk and he was very courteous when signing my autograph (I managed to get in just as they declared it an open queue)

I was a bit annoyed at the woman taking the money for the autographs as she was very rude and obviously overtired. Still, it was utterly horrible to see someone roll their eyes and gesture uncaringly to the different pictures when I asked which one she liked.

Glad to see people enjoyed helping out at the con :/

It was great - I had time to tell him how much I'd enjoyed seeing him in Antony and Cleopatra, to which he replied "It was a good little show, wasn't it?", and signed my 'I, Claudius' DVD - and he was on good form during the talk. Anyone know what I could use to store the Enterprise bridge sample safely?

I had a "Anthony And Cleopatra" programme for him to sign. He seemed genuinely surprised to see it, and asked me if I enjoyed it - I said I did, but was gutted to have missed him in "The Tempest", so I asked him to come back.

How funny - I missed that show too (couldn't get a ticket for love nor money!). I do hope he plays that part again as I was gutted not to get to see it.

I know - was very annoying - like you I just couldn't get a ticket. Pity since it's definitely my favorite Shakespeare play - and seeing it with Patrick Stewart would have been fantastic :D

I saw him when he was probably in his real full flow of signing so not much time to chat or anything but he gave a nod and approval noise at the Smiley's People DVD I asked him to sign. He even flipped it round to have a look at his picture with Alec Guiness on the back!

Managed to get a thank you out of him but unfortunately there were two little fanboy idiots in front of my trying to ask a "do you remember in that one show" question ........... I was about to start kicking them when one of the crew came over (thanks crew).........so if you're reading this idiot-boys my friends Keith and alan thank you for ruining any chance of facetime with Mr. Stewart .....have some consideration in the future and assume that no handshake or personalistion also means no inane questions :)

Have to agree with everyone here; good albeit brief experience - he's gave a smile and eye contact when we went to the desk, and did the same again with a thank you after he signed. Seemed like a genuinely nice guy who tried very hard to welcome everyone even though he was initially very busy. Top man!
