GoldenGreen Posted March 25, 2014 Share Posted March 25, 2014 You approach the doors to the inspiring Star Wars Music of John Williams, where you are met by Carrie Fisher circa 1977 in her Princess Leia outfit, who guides you through a model of a death star, where she passes you over to William Shatner, joined by Leonard Nimoy both in full TOS outfits who escort you to the bridge of the Enterprise where all the other Captains are waiting in full costume for your Bridge photo. As an added bonus, for just a £5 there is also a sand pit to the side where you can get a photo grappling with William Shatner. When you have dusted yourself off, you are met by the lovely Liz Sladen and K9 who grabs your arm and leads you over to a life size tardis where all the Doctors in costume are ready to meet you and sign your items, before lifting you aloft on their shoulders for a group photo. Off then to the Horror Zone in the basement of the show, where Robert Englund, Tony Todd, Doug Bradley et al are all in full costume for your photo op of Horror Legends whilst the music to Halloween plays in the background. You are then chased by Michael Myers and Jason Voorhees back upstairs to the Joss Whedon area. Joss takes you over to table for a coffee and a natter and signs whatever you want before doing a comedy dance and posing for some photos, he then beckons over Sarah Michelle Gellar , David, Boreanaz, Nathan Fillion and Eliza Dushku for your group photo, before Eliza grabs your arm and takes you over to the Superhero Zone. Leaving you here with Robert Downney Junior in Iron Man costume, he takes you to meet the rest of the Avengers in the Destroyed City backdrop for your next photo op , whillst Gwyneth Paltrow flirts just a little with you, telling you how much she likes English men. Robert shares some of his acting stories with you over a drink in a sherlock holmes bar that has just appeared to the side , before he announces a little surprise for you as Basil Rathbone, Peter Cushing , Jeremy Brett and Benedict Cumberbatch join the fun for a Sherlock themed quiz and a photoshoot where you are given a deerstalker to wear. You all sit chatting by a log fire as you bide away the remaining hours before you need to go. Carrie Fisher appears once again from nowhere, this time as Princess Leia circa 1983, you know the "costume" and she leads you away towards the door, everything gets a little fuzzy and then bump, you wake up back in 2014 ! 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'd also like to meet some Indiana Jones guests that I've unfortunately missed at the previous conventions due to not knowing they were appearing. Logan was at the Noah Premiere recently and he seemed like a great guy, he was chatting away, thanking everyone for coming out, posing for photos, signing autos. KingRichard76 Posted April 16, 2014 Share Posted April 16, 2014 Without sounding predictable here: I've thought long and hard about this and I'd be greeted by the door by Michelle Pfeiffer dressed up as #Catwoman (to every single detail just how it was when I first saw Batman Returns when I was 16) she would take my- um hand and to the tune of- yeah I think I'm going to have to skip through this one cos this could end up not being Family friendly and bordering on Fanfiction. Harrison Ford, Anne Hathaway, Gillian and David, John Williams would all feature heavily into this- my dream convention not the fanfiction thing, although Anne Hathaway would- never mind. :) 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
