Timetable for Photos and Talks - Conflict!

Hi so I have seen that the timetable is finally up for talks and photo sessions, but something caught my eye and makes no sense.

Staurday talks; Wil Wheaton talk: 11:05-09:30 - erm what?

but then you also have George Takei's Talk on same stage at 11:15 - 12:00

So what is going on here, Wil Wheaton is on at 11:05 then surely that would mean his talk is only 10 minutes?

Please can this be looked into?

Need to know as have these talks as part of my package and would like to schedule photo's around them.

Any chance of putting the CORRECT time for the talks on your website.

Have you ever heard of proof reading before hitting the commit button.

Its bad enough trying to sort out the mess of the clashes - we don't need your incompetent postings and confusing times.

And while we are talking about clashes, how are we supposed to get to a photo shoot when you only allocate 15 minutes A DAY for GATES on Saturday and that time is in the middle of Marina's shoot!!

Did you people even think about that???

Another shambles. I'd better get ALL my paid photo's AND ALL of my paid talks (which I cant get at the moment as I'm going to be standing in queues for photos!!!)

Damned rip off this "CON"

Lex. Clashes are inevitable with an event this size unfortunately and are a risk you take when buying activities before the schedule is released (I know the problem with buying early V waiting and sold out so I do understand). A clash between 2 photo shoots is easy to manage, you have 2 choices - go to the one that starts first and as soon as you are out go to the other. If you can get to the first early you can be as near to the front of your group or the queue as possible. Alternatively, go to the shorter one if it finishes before the other and when through that one go straight to the other.

There will be clashes, they aren't the end of the world. If it looks like you may have trouble getting through one so may miss the other, politely make your situation known to the crew and if they can they will try and get you through. You will have to show the ticket for the other shoot though to prove it.

The schedule was taken down now, this is all being looked into.

Lex, please watch your wording. Raylenth has explained anything I could have posted about your issues. I get it you have problems and don't like certain things, but the way you screaming about "rip off" like you like to do doesn't change a thing and is not appropriate at all.

In my long, long, long experience most issues with people missing photo shoots are because they turn up late for them and they have finished. Don't turn up as it's ending, especially if it's a short shoot.

At Sherlocked I saw this a couple of times whilst queuing for the next shoot in an area, people turning up after the shoot has technically finishedand the guest is starting to leave. They managed to get them through by asking the guest if they could come back for a moment but don't leave anything until the last second

Ok, According to the Time table the photo shoot for George and Walter on the Original Bridge on Sunday is 0950 - 1015. As I will be travelling on the first train from London like lots of other people, the first Train from London does not arrive in Birmingham until 1030hrs.

Why are the double Bridge photos not done later in the day? there are going to be lots of angry people arriving and missing the photo shoots

Sometimes guests may actually like to get their photos done first thing. George and Walter are both very chatty though - could also be that they are doing their shoots that early to make sure they are at the photo shoot on time. ;) But I doubt the exact reasons will be posted.

This Timetable as not taken into account people travelling from London by Train.... The bridge shoots are the most expensive shoots and we will miss this as there are no other shoots later in the day? This is not looking very good.

I am happy to bring this up, but absolutely no guarantees whatsoever. One shoot has to be first, and I am sure we won't find any shoot where nobody has possible time problems.

Yes Please QS, the bridge Shoots cost £90 and it's a big hit to loose.... If you can let them know First Train arrives at 1030 from London theres gonna be lots of people on that too...

hey everyone :)

got some questions if anyone can help for the sunday

1st one is the bracketed number under a couple of the guests, what does that mean (batch's ?)

2nd is i have a number of what i think are major clashes, 4 of them are batch 1 photos and from what i can see they only have 1 photo shoot on the day

connor trinneer 13;05 - 13;15 photo c

terry farrell 13;05 - 13;30 photo a

walter koenig 13;10 - 13;35 photo b

robert o'reilly 13;20 - 13;30 photo c

how best should i get around that :(

3rd i have william shatner in batch 2, what time should i be at his (1) is 09;30 - 10;20 and (2) is 15;00 - 15;35

and i have george takei which is also a batch 2 (1) is 11;50 - 12;15 and (2) is 14;45 - 15;10

i have a clash between shatner, george and dominic keating at the later times but if because i'm batch 2 i can get into shatners 1st photo op then that will clear that right up

4th i have batch 3 for jeffery combs buts only showing the 1 shoot at 16;15 - 16;25 is that enough time to get through all the batch's

and finally i have christopher lloyd booked for the sunday which isn't on the timetable (i know that will get sorted) but knowing how these are that will throw a spanner into it lo.

any advice on these questions will be greatly accepted :)

And first one from up north (Manchester anyway which is where im travelling from that morning) arrives at 10:15-ish, so pretty much same time. I havn't booked shoots yet due to this pretty late arriving time as wanted to make sure I wouldn't miss anything first!

If it's what I think it is, a (1) and a (2) that I think means it's a split shoot, as in there are 2 shoots in the day for that guest, shoot (1) and shoot (2). Depending on how long they are the first session will be those with that guest in their allocation followed by maybe Batch 1 ticket holders depending on how long the first session is and how quickly they get through people/how many turn up for it. The second session will be any remainders from the first session and everyone else in batch order. If you have a low batch it's worth keeping an eye on the morning session to see where they are up to.

2nd Question: Go to Connor first, then to Terry. Show the crew a Terry's shoot your Walter and Robert Tickets. If you're out before Walter's shoot starts go to that one then to Robert, if not go the other way round. You have Batch 1 tickets so you should go straight into the queue and get through quickly.

3rd Question: You should get through Shatners shoot in the first session, they go pretty fast but check about 10 minutes in how far they've got.

4th Question: Yes, if you have a ticket for the shoot and are in line while it's on you will get a photo

Luckily I appear to have only one clash now on Sunday.

09:50 - 10:05 Christopher Lloyd photo session ( only one of the day )

10:00 - 10:45 Star Trek TNG - A Look Back

How strict are they at the talks about late admission. Looks like I may get there

bang on 10:00 or a little later.
