As i posted in whens tickets going on sale £30 is a lot of money for under 10's when they get nothing really for it, i mean take myneice shes 3 shes hardly gonna want autos i mean if they come with parents surely like most cons they should be free, whatsy the harm in that?its going to cost me nearly another tick for nothin just to bring 2 with me! silly i think.

I do agree that babies/tots up to 4 should be free when part of a family but after that I say a charge is fine.

I would think they count towards numbers allowed in halls/talks etc so if any event was to be a sell out then having a crowd of free kids taking up allocation would be a bit unfair.

They get the programme and gifts so maybe for that price if they threw in a kids Tshirt it would be ok.

Well i got to a lot of vairous cons and up to like 7 should be free, i think they could have abadge and come in with parents so that counts to numbers and not get autos or anything which would still be fair... its not really fair on ppl with low income what want to come but is gonna have to splash out an extra £30 or £60 to bring there children its not reall yfair on parents with children that want to attend cons.

The online shop orders are manually processed, so you can put in your details and leave a note somewhere for Jola so she knows what's going on.

Don't worry too much about specifics - if there's a problem, she'll let you know B)

Can someone please tell me if Gold tickets are numbered (as in you are assigned an actual seat or row)? Or is it that the first few rows are saved and then Gold ticket holders will just queue up for those? Thanks!

Normally the seats aren't assigned, just the first few rows reserved

Hi there... just wanted to say I am definately going to try & make this con!

However, I also wanted to say that it is a bit 'off' charging a child of 11 the same price that an adult would pay... a lot of UK conventions make children under 16 free, then charge adult prices at 16+.

Can't wait for the guest announcements! x x x

I am not sure which events have under 16's free as I dont think any of the major organisers do that??

I think as said before that with maybe 5 or even 7 is a fair age to charge a child price.

I think you will also notice that SM are charging around 35% for the child price and others tend to charge nearer the 50%

I do another major organisers event ans its over 7 i thinku have to pay which ok is semi fair and is around £30 but they get autos... and its up to ages 16 around then after that its adult prices. I just thnk its silly to charge for such young children it jsut seems as ur punished if you have kids cus u have to pay to bring them.

Yeah it's hard for us without kids to truly understand, plus I guess if it was free for children there's the danger it could just be over run with the little darlings and some people will be paying £195 for their tickets and don't want some bored child moaning all the way through a Q&A. It's a tricky one, I can see both sides of the story.
