  1. I for one was disappointed not to have more time with gillian anderson but attended expecting exactly that so wouldn't possibly complain. If I'd come away having not seen her I would have been distraught. I loved having a bit of time with Nicholas Lea and Mitch Pileggi but they had far fewer people waiting to meet them.
  2. Nicholas Lea and Mitch Pileggi made me day, both so friendly and talkative. Gillian Anderson was great to meet and just as friendly but understandably it was a brief meeting as she was pulled from pillar to post during the day.
  3. I'll be getting Gillian anderson to sign my Sideshow figurine having got William B Davis and Lance Henriksen's signed already
  4. This is beyond a joke now, so much so that I had to remember my login details to post :)
  5. definitely a couple of quantum leap moments, particularly the 'oh boy'. very much enjoyed it
  6. 3D with my optical needs doesn't work well. I work in an Opticians and regular 3D glasses don't do it for me as I cannto wear contact lenses. One of my Lab Techs is working on some prescription 3D glasses. Cool or what.... what exactly are your 'optical needs' The spex provided now are suitable for most people who require correction regardless of whether it's contact lenses or not. If it's an issue with stereoacuity then whatever type of 3D glasses are issued, prescription or not, you won't get the full effect.
  7. i'm assuming you know that celine is currently touring. i myself will be seeing her may 6th at the o2 Yeah, I know Unfortunately I can't afford it and none of my friends would go with me anyway... Hope you have a good time though the tickets were indeed a hefty price.i really can't wait, i'm such a girl

  9. i'll add my two pennies worth. Whomever won they won't be around for long, the standard this year has been very poor. somehow Rhydian managed to sing 'when you believe' with absolutely no emotion whatsoever. therefore based on their final performances alone Leon had to win and his was a very emotional performance. As i said tho' neither will be around long. Ray proved last year, swing doesn't sell...much! Rhydian will perform at the odd rugby match.
  10. well the nerves are jangling now... Another great performance by the argies yesterday.
  11. i unfortunately can't see past englands performances in the last 4 years despite the last couple of games. As a result i see a south african win by 10-15pts. i desperately hope i'm wrong and will be cheering on the boys at the pub tomorrow night. Regardless of the result england must take a different approach to 4 years ago and start to plan for the next world cup immediately as once again they have an ageing squad. more than anything i feel that jason robinson deserves to go out on a high. c'mon the lads quick note, judging by the comments on here i think most of us are genuine rugby followers anyone wanna confess to jumping on the bandwagon?(not aimed at anyone directly just wondering) I have a couple of colleagues who have just got into it and have watched as much as they can even when england aren't playing, this can only be a good thing surely.
  12. can i just mention a name who has completely outshone hamilton in motorsport this year... James Toseland That is my opinion and i will not waver from it as i find world superbikes a far more competitive sport than F1.
