Who was your favourite guest to attend a Collectormania?

Oh, my goodness. You expect me to choose?!?!?!?!

I think the one which was100% quality over quantity was June 2009, when I met Avery Brooks, Leonard Nimoy and Nathan Fillion. (My friends nearly died of envy, tee hee.) But my favourite overall guest? SO DIFFICULT. In terms of having a Meaningful Encounter, here's the (ahem) shortlist:

Avery Brooks, Nathan Fillion, JG Hertzler, Steven Williams, Robert Englund, Richard Kiel, Lou Ferrigno and John Rhys Davies. (Honorary mentions: George Takei and Misha Collins at Collectormania London, if we can count that.) But I could list so many more, because I've met many lovely guests at Collectormania. It's my second favourite SM event after LFCC.

I have only been to last years show so I am limited on my choice. I will go for John Barnes and Peter Beardsley. I grew up at school idolising these guys so it was great to finally meet them.

Gutted at missing out on so many guests at previous Collectormanias!

I have a few good memories but my personal favourite would have to be Bodie Taylor (the clone trooper) in Spring 2005.

When I asked for a photo, he sat up from his chair and suggested we get in a ready for battle pose away from his desk, rather than at his desk.

My most embarassing moment was meeting Avery Brooks in Spring 2007.

After he signed I asked for a photo, and he said would do so while he was pretending to sign his autograph.

Upon exiting the area, I noticed there was a No Posed Photos sign at the queue entrance. D'oh!

(Had I noticed, I would have asked my friend to take a photo of us while Mr Brooks was signing)
