timelord81r Posted November 29, 2012 Share Posted November 29, 2012 I think this series is consistantly better as a whole,, s2 there were some farm eps where I was a bit bored, not one ep has been dull in s3 yet, its all great. although the whole phone thing with rick, would of been much better if we didnt hear the other end of the convo, but letting us hear the other end are the writers trying to add a supernatural element to the show? if so thats something id not like, not with TWD, if not it felt a bit weird, esp going on so long, i started to suspect it wasnt as it seemed when he refused to let anyone stay with him for it, though how it brought him back from the abyss was good. rick is the lynchpin of this show, andrew lincoln is ace, without them it wouldnt be the same Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

OverGeek Posted December 21, 2012 Share Posted December 21, 2012 Have you all seen the latest Webisodes, collectively known as "Cold Storage"? There's only four of them and there quite short but it take place before the start of the first season, though it has no direct charater or story connection (that we have been made aware of) it's still worth a watch. And there's of course the previous six Webisodes for the collectively titled "Torn Apart" which shows us how the 'bicycle zombie girl' became infected that are well worth watching. I also recomend The Walking Dead telltale game which is currently offering the first part for free on X-Box Live to help keep your zombie needs satisfied. modern_day_prophet Posted March 2, 2013 Share Posted March 2, 2013 yeah u can really feel it building to all out war between them and having merle back in the group is so interesting due to his recent history with michonne and glenn. i think ricks vsion thing is gonna be good to watch too as you can imagine that getting someone killed if hes distracted again.. all in all, walking dead is amazing every week. no more singing from beth around a campfire though please. timelord81r Posted March 3, 2013 Share Posted March 3, 2013 spoilers at uk pace my god the walking dead series 3 is amazing, every week it great, s2 had a few duff eps but was still awesome but s3 every ep so far has been awesome, you scream inside a little when they end having to wait a week for the next one. love that rooker is part of the good guys now, it would of been nice for him to be a bad guy but sometimes a good guy thorn in their side but i think its even better he is a bad guy turned good in their group. i hope rick gets his crap sorted, cos im team rick all the way, i know shane is gone but im still team rick, always. if andrew lincolns rick wasnt in it any more id be p****** lol, i remember watching outcasts and seeing it coming but when they dispatched jamie bamber so early i was furious lol, i didnt watch the rest of the series for 6 months lol. i never read the comics, so dont know where its going, will be interesting to see if the governor makes it past s3 and if not who kills him. OverGeek Posted March 6, 2013 Share Posted March 6, 2013 It's important to remeber the series uses the comics as a guideline only, they have so far taken the prison storyline to totaly new and diffrent places. The governor isn't the totaly psycho he is in the comics, but he's not exactly the friendlist of charaters on the show, i'm not 100% they will kill him off.
