  1. And watch the films Halloween is on tonight and Halloween H20, plus Halloween 2 is on BBC1 Friday night
  2. Have a Happy and safe Halloween everyone. And watch out for the boogeyman.
  3. What a strange world you live in. Jason Voorhees isn't real so he couldn't have been "approached" for Freddy Vs Jason (which I assume you are referring too). The reason he was chosen, was because New Line Cinema owns the rights to both characters and therefore didn't have to pay fees to anybody else for use of their characters. (It's also the reason that rumours, which were unfounded in any reality, that a Myers Vs Pinhead movie began, because Dimension owns both characters). Your ill informed continual slagging off of Michael Myers and Halloween is just making you look more stupid with every post you make.
  4. ? There's already a Michael Myers on here. He only comes out on Halloween apparently.
  5. The guys at Trancas International who make the Halloween films have already officially stated that Michael Myers will NEVER appear in a team up movie. So I'm afraid that report is just fluff.
  6. Your simplistic outlook on life is almost endearing...no, wait, it isn't. You base your entire assumption that Friday the 13th is better on the fact that Busta Rhymes was in Halloween Resurrection????????? I agree that he was one of the worst things about that film but you can't base an entire argument on that. As for the 'he gets defeated by a woman' - so does Jason every time. Jason even has his mom do the killing for him in the first film. Michael Myers and the Halloween franchise do not need to involve other horror characters because their whole series hasn't run out of steam, unlike Friday 13th and Elm Street (this was especially evident with Jason X). "there has been not one terrible Jason movie" That cracked me up. Actually you are right - there has been four or five of them at least. Jason goes to Manhatten or whatever its called is far worse than any Halloween movie. And for your education, Halloween I & II were supposed to be one two part movie. The reason Halloween III started with a different tale was that it was John Carpenter's original idea to have a different story released each Halloween centering around the theme of Halloween night. In his eyes he wanted the Myers story wrapped up in Halloween II, but after III was released Myers was so popular that they brought him back for Halloween 4 and so on. "I wouldn't be all together surprised if he got defeated by a new born baby next.....the franchise is heading in that direction" You mean like the one Jason turned into at the end of Friday 8? (which is far worse than any Halloween movie). BTW where was Friday the 13th's 20th Anniversary movie? Halloween had H20 but I didn't see a Jason 20th Anniversary film. People just don't care about Friday the 13th the same way they do Halloween. (And don't say Jason X because that was released in 2001 and wasn't intended as an anniversary movie) Halloween outclasses Friday the 13th in every department. Case closed.
  7. You're obviously into bumbling overweight retarded potato sack wearing momma's boys. And it isn't a fact...just pure fiction...
  8. I find your comment amusing seeing as; 1. Michael Myers was the inspiration for the creation of Jason. He came first in 1978, Jason didn't arrive on the scene until 1980 (in a cameo), and 1981 in his own right (and then with a potato sack over his head). 2. Michael is a lot smarter than the bumbling, overweight, retarded momma's boy that is Jason Voorhees. Afraid of water? (Freddy Vs Jason) come on. Myers isn't afraid of anything. 3. The Halloween films have at least attempted to keep some kind of continuity (went a bit screwy around 6 & H20, but still). At least Myers didn't crawl out of a New York sewer having returned to a child like state (Jason Takes Manhatten). The Friday the 13th/Jason continuity is all over the place. 4. The charaterisation in the Halloween movies evolved as the years rolled by, becoming more realistic and reflecting opinions and attitudes of today. The actors in the Jason movies (and Elm Street) still act and dress as if they are in the 80's. 5. Halloween is always mentioned as a horror classic alongside Psycho and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre...Friday the 13th isn't, and is seen as a pale imitation of both. As for 'weaker' than Jason. I can't see how you can explain that. Jason has been buried at least once - Myers never has. If you are judging on physical appearance, just because Jason is overweight and appears stronger - I've always found it more eerie that someone as thin as Myers can lift a man twice his own weight. There's nothing eerie in a fat man in a boiler suit lifting some skinny guy.
  9. There is no greater film to watch on Halloween, than Halloween. Lock your doors, bolt your windows, and...pray he doesn't find you.
  10. And I will be waiting, Michael.
  11. Samhain isn't goblins or evil spirits. It isn't witches or ghosts. It's the unconscious mind. We're all afraid of the dark inside ourselves.
  12. Theres a bit of a mini Dawn of the Dead reunion at NEC at the end of the month, you know the show I'm talking about.
