  1. If you are looking for the new trailer (which is FANTASTIC by the way) go to... Return of the King Trailer (LARGE SIZE FOR BROADBAND FOLKS) or Return of the King Trailer (SMALL SIZE FOR SLOW MODEM FOLKS) Enjoy
  2. Have a look at this thread from the C4 forum. I posted the full lyrics to the song and a photo of Elijah and Sean singing it! Hobbit Drinking Song Enjoy
  3. Hello all you young folks (and the relitavely few of us oldies)... I am 32 and Mrs FatJon is 31. Enjoy your youth while you have it - you will miss it when its gone!
  4. As requested, here is the picture without the numbers... please feel free to take a copy for your personal use. And to those of you who think you got away without being seen, here is another shot of the same group. I think I took this one about 20-30 seconds earlier and several of you are in different positions so I think there are a few new faces (or at least new bits of faces!).
  5. Here is the only picture that I took that shows the lovely Hobbits (with one of the many Americans I think). Sorry I don't have one of Gandalf!
  6. Hiya According to showmasters there was supposed to be "several auctions" of memorabilia during the screenings. Guess not eh? ps. I didnt mention the photos!!!
  7. Hi Roz Mandy here, glad you had fun although does this mean you are living on bread and beans for the next year? Hope to see you again soon. Mandy
  8. Hi Guys. Firstly I want to say that I had a great weekend, I got all of the LOTR autos and pictures and I would like to say a big THANKS to showmasters and all the guests. I would like to know however what happened to the auctions scheduled for the screenings? A small query I know but I am just interested. Cheers Mandy (fatjons wife!)
  9. Hi, We already have lots of names and faces matched up in this thread Forum Members Pictures so might as well keep them all together. Jon
  10. Oh and I found some of the other songs as well. Bilbo’s walking song The Road goes ever on and on Down from the door where it began. Now far ahead the Road has gone, And I must follow, if I can, Pursuing it with eager feet, Until it joins some larger way Where many paths and errands meet. And wither then? I cannot say. The Lay of Gil-galad Gil-galad was an Elven-king. Of him the harpers sadly sing: the last whose realm was fair and free between the Mountains and the Sea. His sword was long, his lance was keen, his shining helm afar was seen: the countless stars of heaven's field were mirrored in his silver sheild. But long ago he rode away, and where he dwelleth none can say; for into darkness fell his star in Mordor where the shadows are.
  11. I have this other picture of you all... and in this one your mouth is closed!
  12. Here is a pic (more in the Hobbit Screening thread) of Wiccawise21 and the others about to perform the Dom song.
  13. I promised the Hobbits that I would post the full lyrics to their drinking song. For those of you that don't know it, this is a song sung in the Fellowship of the Ring, and we got Elijah and Sean to sing it with us at the Saturday Fellowship showing and here is the proof... Elijah and Sean getting to the "Mug of beer inside this Took!" line. These are the lyrics as I found them. Hobbit Drinking Song Hey, ho, to the bottle I go, To heal my heart and drown my woe! Rain may fall and wind may blow, But there still beeeeee many miles to go! Sweet is the sound of the pouring rain, And stream that falls from hill to plain! Better than rain or rippling brook, Is a mug of beer inside this Took! Strange and dark is the world outside, But in the pub we've naught to hide! With lots of ale, and barley wine, This evenin' is surpassin' fine! Harvest's in and cold without, An' hobbits strong are hobbits stout! Naught to fear, and naught to think, For hobbits nowwww have ale to drink! Hey, ho, to the bottle I go, To heal my heart and drown my woe! Rain may fall and wind may blow, But there still beeeeee many miles to go! The Shire lays right down to sleep, In slumber long and slumber deep! Hushed be hobbit lass and lad, With faces plump and faces glad! A land of peace and a hobbit hole And in a pouch a pipeweed roll! Never falter, never fear, For the Shire will always be here! Hey, ho, to the bottle I go, To heal my heart and drown my woe! Rain may fall and wind may blow, But there still beeeeee many miles to go! Hey, ho, to the bottle I go, To heal my heart and drown my woe! Rain may fall and wind may blow, But there still beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee many miles to go!
  14. Folks, here is another copy of the picture of all the forum members that were at the Fellowship screening on Saturday. I am sure lots of us have got a snap like this but can't put names to faces. This picture with numbers should help simplify things. If you are on the pic and don't mind us all knowing, why not post below telling us your name & which one you are! In case you can't remember who I am (and I am not in this pic obviously as I took it)... this is me, my wife Mandy & some wierd bloke we met
