braveboy1
Hello i would like to put forward some guest ideas. Martin sheen would be great. The West Wing, Wallstreet, Apocolypse now. great actor. Ken Adam. James Bond Production designer, not only was he the man who created some of the greatest sets and designs from Bond and other films but he was also the only german who fought for the RAF during WWII. (check out wiki) This would, I think satisfy bond fans and also military fans. I would also like to see some more sports guest. jackie stewart bobby charlton jack charlton john surtees martin johnson denis law

lukeowl
As unlikely as it may be, what about this guy - Jerry Maren - one of the surviving Munchkins from the Wizard of Oz (he is the middle member of the Lollipop Guild that hands the lollipop to Dorothy). His Wikipedia entry suggests he is happy to appear at events. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jerry_Maren I think this would be a superb guest from one of the all time classics in cinema history. Count Fooku
Had Stafford done many commercial public signings prior to Autographica? Just trying to think of any astronauts that may be active-ish on the circuit but haven't been over here before. Of course we may get a bit carried away on what Gen. Stafford said, as I understand it he said he'd put a good word in, it didn't sound 100% certain we will be getting a rare space guest over next year. Still its fun to speculate! Aldrin
I reckon for A15 we need a major A-lister for the show, someone who will really pull in a big crowd and get people talking.....off the top of my head, someone like Lauren Bacall or Jane Russell..... and some more sport stars, plus I'd also like to see some folk from the music world whom I don't think we've seen at an autographica? Finally some ladies from the modelling world wouldn't go a miss!! Cheers Edited September 16, 2009 by Ted Crump

von Dawson's Express
I have heard and am not sure if I can say more but Ed Mirchell is giving a talk next year in the UK. Perhaps Showmasters could discuss this and arrange the timings... Just a thought von Dawson's Express Rusty Schweickart please!

Count Fooku
Something has just occured to me, whenever we all compile our wish lists for Astronauts to appear, no one ever seems to ask for Buzz anymore!
descartes
Something has just occured to me, whenever we all compile our wish lists for Astronauts to appear, no one ever seems to ask for Buzz anymore! benw1477
This was my first Autographica and I loved it! How about a few more people from A Bridge Too Far? James Caan Robert Redford Anthony Hopkins ( I wish ) Elliot Gould And how about more from Star Wars? Carrie Fisher Mark Hamill David Prowse Peter Mayhew Anthony Daniels James Earl Jones It would be fantastic to see a few of these people there next year! That's very true. Could it have anything to do with attitude and/or fees? I guess its the combination, the higher fee would be OK if he made the thing more of an experience or a lower fee and accepting that he wouldn't bother much with each person would be the same but the combination of the two is probably a bit too much for a lot of people! That said I suppose I wouldn't be sorry if he came back. I'm not sure I'd want anything signed by him but I wouldn't mind another photoshoot. I'm not sure either of us looked at our best in the last one!

That's very true. Could it have anything to do with attitude and/or fees? Probably a bit of both, wasn't he charging like £300+ this year? He's not the most chatty of men, but I'd have him back like a shot to be honest
lukeowl
Here's another thought, how about a Chariots of Fire reunion? Is that a serious suggestion? Vangelis would be worth a meet. Ian Holm would serve as a nice LOTR crossover. I concur.
Banished_From_Rohan
Said it before and I'll say it again: Judy Geeson - especially now she's taking her first footsteps into Con world in the States. Actually, I know it's a niche market, but anyone from Danger UXB: Anthony Andrews, Maurice Roeves, Ken Cranham, the list goes on....
