Well, I'm not a Yank, but I'm coming from the USA. Tennessee to be exact. Can't wait. 12 hour flight! When you heading over. Ang and I will be there Tuesday. Americans unite! lol I will be coming with my daughter (she's 19)and my younger brother. Our flight leaves on Wed, but we don't arrive until mid day on Thurs. We're staying at the Thistle. We definitely need to all get together!

Hi Gemma, Welcome! I am attending the con with my daughter (she's 19) and this is our first con too. We are flying in from the U.S. and don't know anyone either other than meeting here on the boards. Everyone has been super nice! I don't think anyone will feel out of place, but if you and your sister are out of place, then my daughter and I will fit right in with you. Not for sure yet, but I might do the Princess Leia Slave girl costume. Might not be brave enough! I'll need a cape for warmth and coverage.
