Raylenth
I know it's really early to ask this seeing as tickets aren't available yet but I thought I'd ask this early so those who get tickets can prepare. Whilst we obviouly don't need an answer urgently it would be great to get a reply in good time. As this is an official convention what items will people be able to bring to be signed. Will it only be items that are official BBC products and 8x10 stills? When I have been to official cons in the past nothing unofficial could be signed. BartyJnr
It better bloody well not be. I want my 12 foot Benedict Star Trek poster signed (if he actually is a guest obviously... Haha)
CurlyKirsty
We have a Phoenix Copper autograph book that needs signatures.I also have a poster that Benedict can sign seeing as we already have his sig in the book.
Gamabunta
I mean i'm no Sherlock fan, but if Benedict is coming and Martin Freeman, I would go there to get my Star Trek and Hobbit movies signed by them.
destructogal17
Also on this, like LFCC and Collectormania - will photo prints be provided to get signed or would you have to bring something with you? Would there be a limit of how many things you can get signed?
Knitty Fred
This request for me is very guest dependent but will the sending in items for autographing by guests be available for this show too?
andyfilm_1
In the other thread, Queen_Sindel kindly offered to investigate whether the event will provide free 10x8 sheets to sign if the website does not make it clear. Not long now! :)
Raylenth
I forgot I started this thread and was thinking about this last night. I hope SM can answer before the event if it's not answered tonight as it would be good to know.
Murph
On the autographs page it says this. "Autographs will not include an item to be signed on, you can either purchase an official Sherlock photo at the event, or bring an item from your own collection to be signed." Raylenth
Thanks Murphy, I've already bought some pictures I want to get signed but will have a look at the show to see if they have anything that takes my fancy.
Murph
Kinda confusing as in the gold package wording it says. "A selection of 10x8 prints will be available to choose from should you wish to use them" Reading that makes it sound like they're free just like at other SM events. Raylenth
Again the Mods can hopefully comment on this as the FAQ does say How much are the 8x10 pictures?Licensed SHERLOCKED photos will be available to be purchased at the show from £3 each It might just be another case of wording carried over from other events being missed in the correction phase. PrehistoricCat
Surely the cost of an autograph should include a photo?? At all other events they're on the table, I can't see why this would be different? Are they saying then that you have to pay, say £20 for the autograph ticket, then another £3 for a photo to get signed?
Murph
Same format as at DSTL. You buy the photo's in a separate area, then go get your autograph.

Are they saying then that you have to pay, say £20 for the autograph ticket, then another £3 for a photo to get signed? This usually happens at the more official conventions. You don't have to buy the photo's though you can source your own or get a signature on another item you want to bring.
Queen_Sindel
Yes, same format as DSTL. You will have to bring something or buy the picture. I'll get the wording on the Gold Pass package changes, that should definitely read a little different there.
Count Fooku
To be honest I'd rather pay for something decent than have something free that isn't very good. I remember when Louise Brealey did MK a while back all she had where screen grabs which didn't look great. I've actually been struggling to find decent 10x8s from the usual places so to know there will be something decent at the show is quite reassuring. Pia
Personally I think I've got a problem bringing my own items... 1 item of baggage weighing up to 23 kg :) Will bring some items and hope to have maybe one or two included in my gold package. If not - I'll buy those autos.

Pia
That's true QS but the hand luggage is the complete camera equipment No need to worry, I'll get it done somehow
Queen_Sindel
Now I am curious about your camera. Everyone is telling me I bring so much stuff, but the camera bag always made it through as personal item.
