  1. A good guest I have seen before but hasn't been here in ages is Bill Blair the alien actor, he is a world record holder for most alien characters played in a career ! And has been in loads of different shows.
  2. Buzz was great, my partner and I specifically came to meet him. Does anyone know what the guy with the video camera was filming for? My partner got asked if it was ok to film him talking to Buzz but didn't say what for. All in all it was a good show with great guests, didn't get asked once to see the wrist band though and the corridors did get a little busy at times due to the Eternal Twilight event. But as someone who has been to Autographica at all its venues I thought it went well. Sarah
  3. Sally Kellerman would be awesome.
  4. I stopped using mine after my last Jeri Ryan auto came off on the wallet, I now use my headshot portfolio it was £20 but it's really good for using at cons and storing the autos in. Sarah
  5. I think it was very well organised and I had a quick but interesting chat with Karl about tattoos which was nice, and the reason they don't allow pictures in some areas are firstly so people get through quicker for autographs and secondly so they don't have to have a flash going off in their eyes for the whole day. Sarah
  6. If they use Olympia again there are rooms upstairs which are pretty big and could be used for the talks if they wanted to. And it would be an easier place to have the queues for the larger talks.
  7. It was a very big problem today, we got there before 8.15 and joined the queue for pre-booked tickets this quickly started to snake round and at just before 9 a guy with a megaphone told everyone at the back of the queue to move to a different area so they all rushed to the front and we only found out what was happening because we saw the mass of people who had arrived after us heading towards the front. All they needed to do was to go to the front of the queue and tell people at the front to move, then the rest would have followed , that didn't happen and ended up with most of the people who got there early to get VQ tickets ending up getting in at 9.30 and having really high ticket numbers. It needs to be worked out better or a lot of people will stop going. Sarah
  8. Awesome, and it's a really great space with plenty of room (I was there in March and sat up there for ages)
  9. I'll be out in my TOS red skant dress as always on the saturday then the rest of the event I will be showing off my new trek tattoo. Sarah
  10. Its a shame he has had to cancel, I hope its because he has upcoming work and not sickness.
  11. I've just had a thought of an Actress who is here around that time in a play in London, Kim Cattrall! I'd love to meet her as I'm sure a lot of others would as well.
  12. Mark Hamill would be good, but does seem to charge a lot for Autographs, but my money would have to be on Carrie Fisher as she's not been in a good few years. But my only other thoughts would be with Star Wars being the main focus for this event, Shannon McRandle, Ian McDiarmid or James Earl Jones.
  13. He has recently done a Con in America and he was charging $200 per photograph and had limited it to only 200 people. I would personally like to see Wil Wheaton and Jeffrey Combs . I used to go to the Trek conventions that were held over here, and they went down well and limited the number of people that attended to ensure everyone that wanted auto's got them. You also paid for them in advance , which did work very well and I think that it would be worth considering, what they also did was had 1 main guest each day of the con and if you bought a certain entry ticket you automatically got there autograph, which saved a lot of time and let you get the other guests in attendance at your own leisure. Sarah
  14. Jennifer was here a few years ago and Roxanne has done collectormania MK. With Kate not being very chatty or meh when you last met her it was possibly due to the event or the staff it always depends on the event as to whether or not they can chat for ages , as they do need to get through a lot of autos in a small amount of time. I've done UK and US conventions and I have found that they are more chatty when in the US as they are much more laid back and work to there own schedules. But I have to say I have been to every showmasters event since they started and I have always found the guests chatty I've never had a bad experience. I am loving the line-up you have now, more ST guests please. Sarah
  15. Well I have just as in this week spoken to Kate Mulgrew and she told me that she is coming back to the UK soon so fingers crossed people. Also with Tim Russ will you be getting him to perform at the event??? as he is a very good singer. sarah
