Thanks to all the fans that came to the event and made it so much fun, it was a pleasure putting the event on for you all

last year the LFCC grow immensely so and we were a little caught out by how popular the show was.

this year we wanted to make improvements to make the show run smoothly and better than last year , we put things into practices and it worked well for you and us

i must say we had more people to the show compared to last year and it all went so well for everyone and with taking more space in the hall it all helped to make the show a more relaxed event

we are on the way to making this event the best of its kind in the world, for guests we are No1 in the world

we now want to work on other aspects of the show, we now want to grow the comics, anime, manga ,and gaming side to the show so there will be a lot more to do and see next year

so do not miss the next LFCC as if you do you will kick yourself, as we have things already in the planning stage that will surpass this years event :D

thanks for supporting us

we will not let you down

jason ;)

Just don't make it too different and full of other stuff like a certain other London show has :D It totally takes away the meaning of it!

A very enjoyable event for me from the unusual attendee standpoint, but of course that's in part due to the fantastic lineup you put together.

Glad it all went well, and I look forward to seeing how you plan on making LFACC '09 even better ..

Awesome weekend was had and thank you .. can I just say .. Virtual Queue ticket distribution on Saturday morning was the smoothest, stress free one I have ever attended ( and I have been to most of them).

Plenty of space, nice and relaxed, perfectly organised, very civilised indeed!

Perfect start to the day, and indeed the whole weekend.

Please for the love of gawd no, at least not as much as that other show who hundreds of thousands of screaming little brats now go ga ga over proclaiming their off to an anime convention to glomp people and offer themselves out for free hugs!

Anyway good show, roll on next years!

I guess we all know the other show people are talking about and please do not try to copy them in any way, I went purely to meet a certain murderers apprentice and whilst I was stood in the queue surrounded by free huggers etc could not wait to go home, the interest in guests such as Jason Mewes and John Landis proves that LFCC seems to be successful concentrating on high quality film personalities.

Anime and Manga at LFCC  So long as you keep getting the calibre of guests you've been announcing I can put up with those categories being at LFCC .

Comics and gaming however would be good, I would'nt mind meeting the likes of Frank Miller etc, and I know Sony have their gaming truck , so maybe a tie-in with them would be a good thing, having the truck just outside the venue or something.

But as other people have said, please don't make it too different from what it is now.

Could not agree more.

Here here.

Anime and Manga at LFCC :D

All of the above lol :P I LOVE SM events for being just that... NOT the others lol. Personally (no offence to others) I can't stand Anime and Manga... funnily enough, mostly for what they did to the other show! I can't stand it at all... what happened to decent guests and dealer tables? And why am I given a weird look for NOT being dressed as a pink marshmallow?

Elements of this stuff may be good for other fans... just not ott, and PLEASE not to the detriment of other aspects of the show.. I'd hate to see less of what we love now :(

Same here! I went ONCE to this other event and swore i'll never go again!

It's only about teenagers not knowing nothing about cinema and actors!

Please, don't do that! nononono!

That will spoil everything!

That LFCC was absolutely brilliant as it was! Adding too many new things might kill the fragile but almost perfect balance you got last week-end!

I just LOVED to see Too Tall standing right in the middle of the aisle in the early morning just when the doors opened, with a kind of big stick in hands, shouting: 'No running please!'

And suddenly everyone was walking passing him

I had a good laugh! That was a funny way to start the day!

I only went to 2 events before in MK and never saw nothing running as smoothly as those virtual tickets distribution on LFCC!

No rush, people were smiling, taking their time, i mean it was just great!

Just maybe rethink about paying talks: see the results when guest cancel? it's risky and i'm not sure it's worth...

And again please, please, please, keep your personnality and originality, keep your difference compared with other shows, that's what makes people faithful to you guys...AND bringing their friends :D

I have to agree with what other people have been saying about the future of LFCC. I know that Anime and Manga are very popular, but what I love about LFCC and Collectormania events is the TV and film bias.

Oh, and after all these years, I finally saw Too Tall. He's a big lad, isn't he? :D

I whole heartidly agree with this whole thread as i have attended all three 'brands' of shows and now one is really not to my tastes and i have a funny feeling the second will be the same with the change of ownership.

I like the idea of zones but manga and anime seems to start as a little section and end up spreading over the whole show!

I agree with the previous post about feeling odd if you dont dress up. I understand cosplay, but i have and will never, partake in it. Just not interested in it. I applaude those of you that do but the pure variation of cosplay is nice at lfcc, not just spiky white hear and hugging oddities!

I strongly believe this show has grown up over the years and I truly hope it doesnt change too much. You are so close to perfecting the design Jason, dont try and change direction now!!!

Just concentrate on gettin those great guests "Cough Alex Winter cough"!!!!

Yes I agree with everyone, whilst most of the kids/adults?? love Manga/Anime I much prefer the film/TV bias to these things. Loving the Universal Film trailer questionnaire, that was fun and good to see what films are coming out. Loving the mixture of stalls and a few new ones I had not seen. Don't mind having a bit of gaming there, my husband loves anything Playstation! I also like the film props and especially the bigger things like the cars I think more of them would be fantastic but as a whole its perfect the way it is in my opinion. Thanks for a wonderful show as always. Laura xxxxx

Yes, a great show, Jason. You should be proud. Well done to everyone who made it so.

My only gripe was the Tom Savini photoshoot changing day at the last minute, which meant I couldn't use the Saturday ticket I'd paid for weeks in advance. Sorry for mentioning it in this thread - I know it's not the right place; I'm just trying to grab Jason's attention, as I'd really appreciate his response (the proper thread is here). Thanks.

And, now, back to your normal service...

We tried something new with the giving out of tickets. We started giving them out slightly down the queue rather than right at the end. The idea was that it would help get people into a line rather than have a mad scrum in front of the ticketer. We also made sure all the other crew got involved and were there to answer questions and guide people about. And it worked pretty well.

I must say I would like more things to do while waiting around. Only so many times you can walk around the stalls.

I have always said I would love to get some film screenings going on, there is room if they use all of Earls Court 2, maybe with intoductions from the guests.

PLEASE dont turn it into major manga event. I BEG YOU

Yes a huge well done for the slight change in giving out VT tickets it really worked well. :D

As for bashing the other show (which has clearly found a very profitable, popular market!) not sure it is necessary as if they had a guest(s) you want to see you would go or in most cases here even go again.
