Thinking of attending Sunday, rather than Saturday?

Recommended Posts

Hi there,I'm thinking of attending Sunday rather than Saturday,is this wise, should I be concerned about

rail strikes & missing out on anything important & fun going on the Sunday,is there any real difference in

attending on that day, should I be concerned about anything,I'd hate to miss out on something amazing,

anyway,my point is it worth attending on a Sunday for a change?

I think that's up to you.. Nobody will know this. Look at the guest list and decide yourself. Why are you concerned about Rail strikes? Do you know something we don't? Sunday's tend to be more quite than Saturdays, so this really depends on you...Sorry to be so vague, but no one can really answer these questions except you... :headscratch:

Sorry bud but cant help you there. I've only ever been to one and that was on a Saturday

At LFCC JULY, but i think its just whatever days the guests are scheduled for and thats down to your

Decision on who ever you most want to meet, but with things going on like the talk panels and cosplay

Events I'm really not sure on that. Rail strikes is that with the whole pay rise thing ????

Sorry everyone,I never meant to offend or cause trouble here,no I do'nt know anything about rail strikes,I have heard that they do happen

now & then,I can only hope & pray that all be well if I choose to attend the Sunday,I'm sure it will be fine

It's just that I am feeling really down & fed up at the moment,a bout of depression,I really would like to go,but my brother is less enthusiastic, complaining about the temperature & all that, personally I do'nt care at all what he says, yes Earls Court 2 is hot & the air con is a

pile of useless junk,we know all this, but I can take it,I can be pretty tough in situations like that :firedevil:

I mean, for goodness sake.come on,in October, the heat inside wo'nt be and cannot possibly be as intense as the July LFCC was, even on a Saturday, believe me I want to try to go again, but I wo'nt go by myself,as it's not as fun & I have no other friends who I can go with as they are'nt into cons & other cool stuff like me,anyway sorry to waste your time,I feel ashamed & awful about my question now, seriously folks,I NEVER meant to hurt anyone's feelings,it just goes to show that the world is such an awful place with no one in that gives a **** about what anyone else thinks,so sad, that just adds to my depression :crying:

Why did I even bother asking a question if I was only ever going to get crucified,I'm very sorry everyone

I always go on Sundays, (I work Saturdays) and I always enjoy it. Never missed out on anything I wanted to do, and I feel like you can spend more time with people. And you can sometimes get sneaky discounts from vendors and artists because they don't want to take stuff home.....

Thankyou bestfuzz,I've been so stressed out & angry a lot lately, been arguing like hell with my brother,he says he will only go on a Sunday from now on & I was getting mad with him & maybe said one or two things I should'nt have said & was getting upset that I may not have as enjoyable a time as I did when I previously went on a Saturday, but I was wrong,I happen to someone who does'nt like change, but I think I may well agree with him to do a Sunday date,so thanks for the good advice,I feel better now

Mate, Don't get stressed out, No comment on here was taken as offence? I think a lot of us just couldn't really answer your question, as we don't know you. Always feel free to put things on the forum that's what it is here for. All my comments normally have a joke way in them. Never take it personally this can wind you up... See it for what it is a bit of fun.

For attending shows, If nobody wants to go or the person your with just moans then don't worry, just go on your own. There are plenty of single people there and nobody cares if your there on your own or with a group of 100. Just enjoy yourself.

Have fun mate, If this is winding you a bit, then the best thing to do is not log on for a few days, give yourself a break and enjoy something else you like doing. Don't let Showmasters run your life. Enjoy it and know when to say enough.

Take care mate, Keep your head up, Have fun at the shows....

I had it all mapped out and was only going to go on the Saturday. Then Nicola Bryant was announced so that alone changed my plans and made them totally redundant. Not that i am complaining about her coming just wish she was coming Saturday instead. So now i don't know to come both days or just the Sunday.....

I have decided that I'm not going to go unless any guests are announced that fall under the category of "People whom I have absolutely been dying to meet for ages"

At the moment,no one really grabs my attention,if that does'nt change within the next month, then I definitely will not be going

So sorry to be a downer, but for me & probably other people also,it has to be really worth my while,in other words well worth the money & travelling if I can meet at least 2 or 3 guests I've been waiting ages to meet, but oh well, only time will tell,at the moment I'm not interested enough to attend, but it is still early days,so I'll see what happens :whistling:

I am still not sure if I am going to this event yet. It is not long after DST3 and have already booked quite a few photoshoots for that.

I am working the Saturday and Sunday evenings of LFCCW so it may be a late call if I go - shall see what other guests get announced before deciding.

I do prefer to go on a Sunday as is less busy but again depends who is appearing on what days.

It's always going to be a personal decision based on, travel, guests, talks, photo shoots for which day(s) you choose to attend.

But personally if it's 50/50 then go for Sunday. Sunday's are always quieter.
