Free interactive workshops with Plymouth College of Art at Film & Comic Con Exeter

Plymouth College of Art is a specialist, independent art school offering a range of study across art, design and digital media – from BA (Hons) Degrees and MA to Extended Diplomas, Foundations and more.

Our commitment to our students is second to none, in workshops, studios and beyond. This year, we’re

bringing our highly skilled tutors and passionate students to Exeter Film & Comic Con, where you can talk to them about how to start your creative journey.

Plymouth College of Art is offering all attendees the opportunity to join a number of one hour workshops throughout both days of the event. All workshop times and sign ups will open on the morning of each event day, and will be located in the workshop area.

Digital Printing Workshop

Learn the basics of digitally painting characters and objects within games.

BA (Hons) Animation

Design your own Zoetrope

Use drawing techniques and traditional animation skills to design and film your own zoetrope.

BA (Hons) Illustration

Badge Making

Experiment with drawing techniques to create your own badge design, before making them into objects that you can take away.

BA (Hons) Costume Production and Associated Craft

Mask Making

Try out costume making using traditional techniques to design your own mask, ready to take away on the day to wear at the event.

As well as providing workshops, we’ll be there on both days offering advice on studying with us and showing off some of the best student work created this year.
